Throwing the Game [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Michael Gallucci
These Chicago boys know how to throw a party, cramming a little bit of punk, ska, and hip-hop into their busy mix, but it's all familiar stuff. Moving to a big label has sharpened their sound, disguising the obvious limitations of the songs themselves. Best cut: "Fred Astaire," a longing love song that name-drops the hoofer for no apparent reason, but manages to charm nonetheless.

    EXELLENT!!!

If you've been asking yourself lately..where can i find good music that doesnt all sound the same, Lucky Boys Confusion is your band. This band's melodies are unique and beautiful. Not one song sounds the same. I fell inlove with Stuhbys voice. It's so beautiful. If you have to buy one CD this winter..make it LBC you wont regret it.

    best LBC CD!

This Cd is awesome, It constantly get s rotation in my stereo... I heard the band play on warped tour. I remembered the name Lucky Boys Confusion and the songs they played long enought for me to go out and buy the cd. They are totally nice guys that hang out after the shows to say thanks to all the fans, and their music is so different than so many of the other bands out there, practically its own genre. Stubhy has an amazing voice, and the lyrics are great. Very original band.

    Correction

Oh, the BN reviewer was way off spot. The cd does mix styles - a lot - but it is surprisingly consistent and great fun. Fred Astaire is a song about a boy taking dance lessons. The song's voice shifts (imperceptibly) from that of him to that of his mom. It is a great song. Their cover of Do You Miss Me is infinitely better than the original and the cd shines with superb musical talent. Even the weaker tracks are fun to listen to.

this cd is worth the money

This cd is a great purchase. Unlike the all music guide says fred astaire is not a love song. It about failed expectations. A mom is teaching her kid ballet. Buy the cd it will all make sense. and you will love the cd

It is a great cd and i like it a lot, my favorite

If you like any kind of punk rock groups then you will like them, they are great and have a very good concert show. Many people compare them to Blink 182, but they don't have a lot of stupid stuff it all has a piont to it and is really good. They are a great band and great to their fans.

    Awesome!

This CD has it all. It has the punk and the hard rock, the slower and the harmonious, and much more. One of the best CD's I have ever purchased!
