Thug on da Line [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Jon Azpiri
After listening to Krayzie Bone on his second solo album, Thug on da Line, you get the sense that he is dealing with some personal demons. After years of personal and professional strife, Krayzie raps about his frustration with thug life in his patented singsong style on tracks like "Can't Hustle 4 Ever" and "Talk to Myself." There is some room for positivity, however, as he demonstrates on the sunny track "I Don't Know What" and "Rollin' Up Some Mo'," a playful ode to reefer that remakes Lou Bega's inconsequential hit "Mambo #5." Despite all of Krayzie's introspection about the thug life, he must not be too tired of it considering that nearly one-third of the tracks on the ...

It seems that he's torn between celebrating thug life and wanting to escape from it. That conflict makes Thug on da Line a compelling listen.

    SECOND REALIST RAPPER OU THERE

This was perhaps one of the best records I have ever heard. Krazy Bone is so real! You can listen to tracks like " Can't Hustle Forever" and " Talk 2 Myself" tons of times in one day. Krazy Bone reminds me of the realist playa we lost in 1996, MAKAVELI!

Krazie Bones back and stronger than ever!!!!

Krazie Bone's flow is smoother than ever. And lyrics are deeper than ever. His style always forces you to bop your head and to sing along.

    Thugline: Off with a BANG!

Soon, this will be another platinum album hanging on Krayzie's wall. Whether shutting up the haters in tracks like ''Ya'll Don't Know Me'' or lacing another weed song in ''Rollin' Up Some Mo','' Krayzie drops one hot song after another. With no hating intended, Krayzie once again wins this round of solo battles; Bizzy's and Layzie's CDs don't come close. 18 quality tracks and 2 ''skits'' make up ~Thug On Da Line~. ''Hard Time Hustlin''' was the first single and its getting a lot of airplay and with the interpolation of Latino hit ''Mambo No. 5'' in ''Rollin' Up Some Mo''' and ''Ya'll Don't Know Me'' as the other two promoted songs, the #2 single will probably be ''Ya'll Don't Know Me'' because weed songs don't generally go over to well with the radio and video stations. The major difference between ~Thug On Da Line~, Bizzy Bone's ~The Gift~, and Layzie Bone's ~Thug By Nature~ are the constant appearances by other artists on ~Thug On Da Line~. Artists included on ~Thug On Da Line~ are Thugline artists LaReece, Keef G, Bam, Young Dre, Asu, Kneight Riduz and K-Mont, 8055 Music Entertainment's Boss, Virgin Records' Kelis, Modern Record's Tiffany and [¿former?] Ruthless Record's artist and fellow Bone Thug member, Wish Bone. Great artists, great producers, great album. Another Bone Thug classic.

    Krayzie Bone is back!!!

I can't stop listening to this new album by Krayzie Bone entitled 'Thug On Da Line'. In my opinion, this album is tha bomb! If you're a true fan of any of the Bone Thugs you'll listen to their albums from start to finish, but I mean every single word! And even though this new album by Krayzie Bone does not offer many cameo appearances by Mariah Carey, Treach, Gangsta Boo, etc it however does offer itself to our liking. Hopefully, if the rumors are true, soon Krayzie Bone will be colaborating with the now once again up and coming Michael Jackson. I really wish Krayzie would do a track with P-Diddy or South Park Mexican. Other than all I have mentioned here I think this album will definetely be another one of Krayzie Bone's best!

    This Album is Hot

Yeah, I'm Bone thug fan, so what. . .I love to see artist like Krayzie and the rest of BTNH keeping the way they been keeping it over the years. . .Thug Mentality was a CD that was hot, but this one is way better with tracks like ''By Myself'' and ''Thugga Level'' Keep the vibe going, plus Had Times Hustling is a real track with a catchy hook. People need to go out and get this CD, To all the people saying that this album is wack and haven't heard it, need to check themselves cause this album is full of addiction, whether it's beats or lyrics, you be feeling him. Plus DELIVERY IS EXCELLENT Krayzie Keep doing ya thang. Nothing is stopping Bone thugs-n-harmony

    Thug Line

For the most part I heard some good songs like ''Ya'll Don't Know Me'' and ''Rolling' Up Some Mo'. Their is alot of newcomers that is on Krayzie new label like Young Dre, Lareece, etc. This dosen't have the heavyweights artists from his last one. But it's still a good record.

    The Name Say's It All

I love music by members of Bone thugs and harmony.I own Krazy Bone's fist solo album and loved it. So I know on his second set he has more harmonious songs and lyrics for the fans to enjoy.I heard the first single with Sade called ''Hard Time Hustlin'', and cannot wait to hear more.I will be the first one in line to pick up this album!!
