    Excited for new book

"Thumbprint" was good for a short story, but really really excited for Mr. Hill's new book. Finally, a return to vampire fiction that isn't sparkly and romantic.

    Joe hill...

I like his other stories but at the end (all 27 pages of it) i felt like it wasnt yis best. I was sort of bored. The preview of his new book was better.

    Interesting if a little jarring

The story in and of itself is engaging. The ending, while not theworst ending ever, did tend to leave me with two trains of thought; the story should have been much longer or the ending should have been different. I am pretty sure I followed the gist of the story, it just left me wanting more. I actually did turn the page back because I wasn't sure if I had really reached the ending. This is a story that really requires the readertobeof a specific type. You will love it or hate it. I wish I could really be more detailed but anything else would give the story away. It's worth reading once if you are a Joe Hill fan,

    more from this reviewer

    Intriguing main character!

Thumbprint's main character is intriguing. Her actions reveal that her backstory may be more twisted than this short has space to relate. Joe Hill does like to leave his readers to imagine the worse.

A good story, that hopefully suggests a new collection to come.

I enjoyed Joe Hill's "20th Century Ghosts" and this story fits his pattern. It hints at the supernatural, but is actually entirely believeable in today's world. I hope he writes enough short stories for another collection soon.

Why only release on the nook??? Those of us who prefer real boo

Why only release on the nook??? Those of us who prefer real books can't enjoy these products. Only rated below average because of frustration regarding availability. Obviously can't read the book because I have a Kindle Not a Nook. Love the other books written by this author.
