This book helped my mother and me understand her thyroid condition. There is a list of foods to be avoided for people with thyroid conditions. My mother really appreciated the 30-day plan because it makes it easier to get used to eating this way without having to put too much thought into it. The abundance of recipes allows her to keep it interesting which makes this plan easier to follow

This book was exactly what I needed. Losing weight with hypothyroidism is very difficulty and now matter how strict I make my diet, I still struggle with weight loss. This diet plan was the best diet plan for me.

This book, while stocked with recipe ideas, did not offer any alternatives on aforementioned recipes.  Along with limiting the reader on their food intake, the descriptions of both hypo- and hyper-thyroidism left much to be desired.  The symptoms listed for each illness were as vague as can be and, multiple times, the book mentioned seeing a medical practitioner.  I found that unusual as the book didn't quite a medical professional or practitioner.  A few of the recipes were great for anyone looking to add to a well balanced diet, however.

Although I have a healthy thyroid, a member of my family does not so I read this book to learn more about the condition. The book is very informative and translates medical jargon into easy to understand language. This is a practical guide that includes recipes and menu planning to help control the condition. Most ingredients in the recipes are things you probably already have in your pantry. Very useful.

I am enjoying delicious food from easy to prepare recipes while losing weight and increasing my energy. That was along with learning more about the thyroid and its function which helped me to have an understanding of hypothyroidism. The Thyroid Diet Plan is a great one-stop book about the thyroid and ways to manage.

The Thyroid Diet Plan is a short, easy read that helps explains the thyroid gland, how diet affects it, and what we can do to help regulate the gland through food. It offers fun, easy recipes in the back, as well as a 30-day meal plan. The meal plan is offers new recipes every meal, which does a lot for variety, but not for ones budget.

Thyroid Diet Plan is my go-to weapon for managing hypothyroidism. It outlines a solid multi-faceted plan:  careful identification of food allergies, proper determination of BMR(Base Metabolic Rate), a diet to optimize nutrition absorption/caloric intake and proper exercise. It also supplies a 30 day diet plan complete with recipes. It touches on all of the issues working against somebody suffering from thyroid related issues and discusses the best ways to counter them. If you’re looking to beat hypothyroidism, this is a fantastic place to start.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much this book is a diet for everyone, and not just those who have thyroid problems. It really seems to cover all aspects of a healthy diet including sleep, cortisol levels, and supplements vs. foods that are naturally high in the vitamins that promote a healthy thyroid.

If you’ve been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, this book is a great start to knowing what is happening in your body and how to fix it. There are tons of recipes that look really tasty and a lot of guidelines for foods to eat and avoid. Plus how exercise plays a major roll in getting it under control.

This is one of the most knowledgeable books on thyroid disease I have ever read. If you have thyroid disease and you don’t know what to do, this is just the book you need. With this book, you are armed with the knowledge and understanding of thyroid disease, treatment methods, and even a 30 day meal plan that breaks down your healthy meals daily from breakfast to dinner, plus easy to make snack foods that you can enjoy at any time.

Love my Thyroid Diet Plan Cookbook. It helped me get to know the disease a little better, which always makes it seem less scary. The book is well organized by meal and even has some bonus features like a thirty day meal plan to get you started, and a food check list. Can’t wait to try some of these recipes!

The first chapters of “The Thyroid Diet Plan” was rather difficult reading, as it uses a lot of medical jargon that a lot of people may not understand without a medical background. It explains the signs and symptoms of both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. The author gives suggestions as to what foods are healthy for a patient with thyroid disease. The book also devotes chapters that include a 30-day diet plan with links to recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Some of these foods did not appeal to me. An index contains links to recipes that are listed in the 30-day plan. “The Thyroid Diet Plan” contains helpful information for individuals who are serious about obtaining thyroid health.

Did you know that 59 million Americans suffer from thyroid disease? Neither did I. This diet book touches on symptoms of the disorder, and then offers ways to treat them through proper nutrition, exercise, and meal planning. Even if you don’t have a thyroid problem, this book still functions as an excellent health guide, and the fact that it features a meal plan and lots of tasty recipes makes it seem like you’re getting two books in one!

 never thought I would eat mung bean porridge for breakfast, but I love all the healthy eating recipes in this book and am tempted to give this one a try!  And I can’t wait to get out my blender and make some Brazil Nut Milk.  While thyroid health was a mystery to me before, “The Thyroid Diet Plan” gives such a clear explanation of how my thyroid helps me function that I feel confident about eating healthy to help my thyroid work best.

Great Resource, Great Recipes  This book is a great tool for those recently diagnosed with a thyroid disorder.  It offers great insight into how the thyroid functions and how our lifestyle plays a major role in regards to its well-being.  The book concludes with a 30 day diet plan which contains nutritional and delicious recipes for anyone interested in living a healthy lifestyle.

Thyroid problems unveiled… This book is a great find. It helps the reader to distinguish a thyroid problem from a host of other illnesses, and gives great detail as to how one can maintain a healthy lifestyle while dealing with thyroid problems. The book even provides great recipes to help a newly diagnosed reader start on the path to healthy eating and more creative meals!

Thyroid Diet Plan is an excellent  manual for understanding the ambiguous symptoms of a thryoid condition. The worst part of thyroid condition is how difficult it is to identify; when it shares so many symptoms with dozens of other illnesses. The good news is that it can be overcome with the proper understanding of the right, and the wrong, foods. You’d be surprised by how much better you’ll feel after only thirty days.

This is an excellent book on the thyroid gland and its functions.   It explains in easy-to-understand terms how all the food types work to nourish our bodies.  It goes on to show how certain foods will react negatively on the thyroid gland and those foods which promote healthy thyroid function.  If you presently take thyroid medications or you have just been diagnosed with thyroid issues, this book can guide you to achieving the very best results from medication and proper diet to maintain thyroid health and function.  The best part of the book are the recipes!!  This would also make a nice gift for your favorite health "foodie" or anyone else who enjoys cooking, to say nothing of it showing how varied healthy eating can be.  Even if you are perfectly healthy and don't have thyroid issues, this would be a welcome addition to anyone's library.
