    Wonderful beginning resource

Ok, everyone…today we are going to look at a book that is a bit different then anything I have reviewed before. One afternoon I got an email asking me to review a “how to” type sex book. Oh yes. After my initial dumbfounded stare at the computer screen I thought, what the hell. What could it hurt right? No pun intended. I was genuinely interested to see what this book had to offer.
I have said before I’m no prude. Sex is a big part of the romance reviewers world. I will even admit to trying a few moves I’ve read in books in my own bedroom. With the husband of course. He was pleased. Very pleased. Not with a guy named Sven who looks like he just busted out of a muscle magazine/playgirl issue/romance cover.
Upon looking in the Tickle Me Tush book I found a lot of plain speak and easy to follow illustrations that someone who may not be aware of the different positions could easily follow and learn from. I myself learned a few new names for things I didn’t know. Surfboarding, Moon Probe and Butt Buffer. Oh yes. Those are actual names for things. You can find everything from hygiene to strap ons in this little book. Any question you might have will be answered. Except for how to get your man to actually let you do ANY of this to him. I’ve asked around you see, and I have yet to find a man that would be comfortable having his back door probed under any circumstances short of him liking dudes. Oh sure, some of them are willing to do this to their wives or girlfriends. But one finger in the their butthole is a deal breaker. End of story. I showed the chapter on strap ons to my husband and his head almost exploded. He looked at some of the pictures and just shook his head. No lie. Maybe there are guys out there that are totally okay with it. I just don’t think I know any. Or maybe I just don’t know any that are willing to admit it. Either way.
So while this is great for couples looking to expand their horizons with something new, I have to err on the side that it is mostly for the females pleasure. Seasoned anal lovers probably won’t find anything in this book that they don’t already know. No huge mind blowing secrets here. The pages about toys was informative and gives pointers on how to figure out what you would be most comfortable with. The addition of the safety pages…condoms, comfortbility, and body maps was educational and even learned I thing or two.
I honestly think that male/male couples would really enjoy this book as well. Although again, probably geared more toward the newbies on the scene then those that have been practicing awhile.
Dr Allison also has self help books on self pleasuring, Bj’s and riding positions.

I give Tickle My Tush by Dr. Sadie Allison 3.50 stars!

Dr. Sadie Allison's Book Tickle My Tush Reviewed by Rebecca Savage

Dr. Sadie Allison's Book Tickle My Tush Reviewed by Rebecca Savage Wow! From foreplay to final conclusion, this book will thrill you and make you think anything is possible! I've never been courageous enough to try anal play, but I've thought about it...K lot, and now I'd...consider it, but I'm not promising to 'do' it...yet:) But I do promise one thing: you'll enjoy this read, and you'll learn...a lot...about sex...and about yourself. That's the best part, and Dr. Sadie's goal, I believe:) And what a success she is at reaching her goal, and making me reach mine. Thanks, Dr. Sadie! And to all your future readers: Go for it! Read the book! Learn! Have fun! Don't be afraid! And be happy! Can't lose with that advice:) And you can lose if you read this book! Check it out! And live life to the fullest! Highly Recommended for those who are scared to give it a go

Dr Sadie breaks it down - the fears and the pleasures - so you understand the process, the problems and the preconceptions.

She addresses all the issues that make the backdoor a nono for many sexual partnerships.

As with all intimacies, if you can work through your fears together, then you can appreciate the results as a couple.

There's nothing worse than one partner wanting to try something and the other being afraid. In most cases, even if the less willing one agrees to give it a try, there are going to be all sorts of psychological issues impeding their enjoyment.

Tickle My Tush gives you the facts and helps you to address it all from a position of knowledge so you can make an informed decision about whether you want to indulge.

    Good Stuff!

Dr. Sadie hits it home again with her latest book, Tickle My Tush. I've read and learned from all (five!) of her books and her latest was a welcome addition to the series. The content is presented in playful yet informative style and is straight to the point so you can learn and get started right away. Giving and receiving is a real pleasure and I now have the confidence to have fun with a little backdoor play. I would highly recommend this book to anyone - get ready to add some new techniques to your sexual repertoire!

Open your mind to new possibilities

Tickle My Tush is a light-hearted fun look at anal sex for mainly heterosexual couples, however, a homosexual man can learn a lot from this book. Dr. Sadie covers a lot of material in this quick read — The 14 chapters of this book cover everything from safety and heinie hygiene to toys, strap-ons, and positions of pleasure. And, Dr. Sadie takes a light-hearted approach by using playful language instead of some complicated medical jargon no one understands or uses.

This book does a wonderful job removing the stigma from anal play/sex. Reading this book will answer a lot of the questions and will clear up a lot of the misconceptions you may have.

What I really like about this book is that it pushes straight men to open their minds and their bottoms to the idea of anal play with their female sex partners. Many straight men don't realize the potential their bottoms have for pleasure. This book also removes the stigma for women to explore. It takes away the idea that enjoying anal sex makes you dirty or a slut. It's simply exploring all the pleasures you body has to offer.

As you read, the book certainly gets more adventurous. It starts with safety, hygiene, anatomy and the basics and moves through finger, oral, genital, toy and strap-on pleasures.

This book is a great read for the anal play beginner. I've been with a few newbies in my days, and there is a lot they can learn from this book. On top of it all, the illustrations that ensue are purely erotic. I think they are my favorite part of the book!

The thing I most learned from the book was anatomy. In fact, I often refer back to it to make sure I am giving my man the most pleasure I am capable of.

Dr. Sadie does an excellent job giving you the basic tools you need to be confident, succeed in anal play in the bedroom and know you can enjoy the untapped pleasures your bottom holds. She gives you invaluable tips that help get you in tune with your partner. She answers a lot of the embarrassing/uncomfortable things that may arise with anal play so that when you encounter them in the bedroom, you can proceed past them without the interrupting the fun. So buy it — Read it — And for heaven's sake, try out all the new things you learn with someone you feel truly comfortable with. You'd be surprised what exciting new experiences you can unlock.
