Meet the Author

Kacey is a multi-published author who was encouraged to write by her beloved husband and quickly found herself writing fast and furiously. Not that she’ll ever tell him those three dreadful words that he longs to hear…”You were right.”

Kacey is a true romantic at heart. Nothing is better for her than two fated mates coming together to find their happily-ever-after. With a love of contemporary settings, modern day romances and the happily ever after, as well as the excitement of suspense, Kacey creates stories in genres she’s familiar with and that she loves most. She also loves vampires who nibble the necks of the heroines, ghosts who can't leave a loved one, shape-shifters who are sexier than hell and the thought of her very own werewolf or were-cat to tame makes her tremble! Locked in her office at her computer, she lets her lusty and exciting characters lead her through their trials and tribulations, love and adventure as they come to life in her heart and on paper.

Review originally posted at Romancing the Book

This book was part of the Edge series written by other authors about supernatural beings and finding their mates and battling forces of evil.

The two main characters of this book Bella and Brady had already met and are already mates and this book tells the story of them possibly getting engaged. I need to tell you this so that you don’t think that they are first meeting and getting together. I was able to follow this story without reading the book of how they got together, so not reading any of the books within the series is not necessary to follow the plot, although it would be entertaining to read!

Even though this was a short read, I thought it was really worth reading. I loved the emotional closeness these two characters had with each other. They loved and respected each other deeply. Bella is a strong woman, a warrior who has always depended on herself, and she is now in a committed relationship with a man that would like to dominate her. Brady is a man that is a warrior. He protects the ones who are weaker then him. He is a man who loves deeply and passionately and wants his woman to be happy. He wants to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her. I’m getting goose bumps writing this! What woman doesn’t want a man like that?

I loved the trust between Bella and Brady. Brady wanting to tie Bella up could be a disaster and heartache could ensue, but I think reading this book and finding out what happens, I hope will make your heart melt, just like mine did. I want to read how these two strong characters got together, just because I’m curious. I hope you are too.
