The strongest bonds are the ones unseen Rough Riders series Businesswoman Skylar Ellison is firmly in control of her life. So getting tangled up with a sexy Wyoming cowboy-and conceiving a baby in the parking lot of a honky-tonk-wasn't in her plan. Since it appears the daddy has taken off for greener pastures, the only thing to do is pull up her bootstraps and carry on alone. Cattle rancher Kade McKay returns home after a year on the range, and is knocked for a loop when he learns he's the father of a three-month-old baby girl. When Skylar refuses to marry him, Kade grits his teeth, moves in and plays house by her rules to prove he's a man in for the long haul. Despite Skylar's insistence they are to remain strictly parenting partners, their old passions flare hot as a brush fire, spurring Kade to demand absolute sexual surrender from the headstrong woman. Skylar willingly submits her body to the hot-blooded cowboy but she's leery of handing Kade the reins to her heart. Can Kade convince Skylar the wicked sex games aren't a temporary distraction? Or will he have to bust out the ropes to show her he wants to be tied to her.forever? Warning: this book contains: no holes barred kinky sex scenes, wicked rope play, blunt language, and yowza! lots of hot cowboy nekkidness.

    Really HOT!!!!

You should really read these seires in order, but if you don't, you can still read it. HOT, HOT, HOT. The whole way through. Can't wait to read the rest to see what happens with the rest of the family.

    LOVED it!!!!!

This is the first one in the series that I have read. At first I was a little shocked by the author's "descriptive" language but didn't take long to get into it!I couldn't read it fast enough. Kade is an absolute dream!! I can't wait to read another one!

This is a must have series...!!!!

I read this one first.. It is the 4th book. I am now in the process of reading the first ones and then the rest of the series and then read them again. For a series of books based around explicit and mind visually graphic sex, the stories are phanominal. There actually is a story and a blooming romance and you feel it. I say ridem Cowboy !!!!

LOVE THE ROUGH RIDER SERIES!!! KADE AND SKYLAR ARE HOT!!!

This one might be my favorite in the series so far. Kade is a dream come true the honorable one who does the right thing, and the loving patient one who doesn't give up. Skylar is also one of my favorite female characters, however sometimes I wanted to yell at her to just say yes, but she gets it together finally. The reuinon was a little daunting, trying to keep up with the names is a task, but it gets a little easier with each book. The love scenes are hot, the dialogue is great, and each character is well developed, and comes to life. After a while you just want to jump on your horse and ride out to the ranch and meet the Mckay's. The only thing I HATE about this series, is the wait for the next one. Can't wait for more.

    Good story!

I have all of the stories to this series. I love the story. The author goes into detail on the entire family. She also helps make them real, Through the many different personal problems that real people go through.
Some of the members of this family and freinds can be hard for some readers.

    Good Read

Rough Rider seriers can be sexually graphic at times but I like the fact that there is always an underlining story also. It is really great that this series is about several macay family members as a whole and also gives some hindsight into the other stories that may not have been read.

Read the whole series - WOW!

Lorelei James has a real steaming winner with this series; one is better than the next. All Jacked up was burning hot. I like many of the scenes without it being too raunchy. I've read them all and I'm now reading #12 - WOW!!!

    Annoying Heroine

Enjoyed this one as I have all the others in the series, but I wanted to smack the heroine upside the head for most of the book. Love LJ's writing style and how she makes you root for the HEA almost from chapter 1. Cant say enough good about this series, but it's getting rather difficult to keep up with all the McKay relatives and their offspring. LOL

    Very good!

The characters of skylar and kade were so believable. The story was relatable. Trust is always a big issue in relationships and once burned its always hard to let someone in so easily. Loved the book!

    Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

I was never much of a romance type reader but I am now in love with the series and all of her writings. I may even like this one better than the rest! On to the next one! Hopefully they don't just end!

    Becoming predictable

I enjoy reading this series, but this one was a little too predictable. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
