More About This Book

Overview

Can two men let go of the past in order to find their future together?

Men of Honor, Book 3

When helo pilot Glen Rhodes flies Navy SEALs into the most dangerous places on earth, he has nerves of steel. Since his trusted Dom’s death three years ago, though, the thought of submitting makes him panic.

Determined to move on and long past ready to release the adrenaline rush from his job, Glen returns to home ground—and to the bar he hasn’t had the heart to enter for three long years. There, he meets a man who seems to fit naturally into the void.

Derek Mann has suffered his own losses, and he isn’t looking for permanent. Easy conquests don’t interest him, either. One look at Glen’s proud military bearing and sad eyes tells him that he has a challenge on his hands. And that winning Glen’s trust will unleash something wild and beautiful.

The plan is to tread lightly. But from the first touch of skin on skin, there’s no holding back…except when it comes to their deepest emotions. A Christmas Eve crisis pushes them both to their limits, leaving them no choice but to let go of the past...or let it pull them apart.

Warning: Contains rough language, rougher sex and warriors who fall hard for each other.

3 1/2. Ties that Bind is a good book, not as good as the first two, but still good. Ties that Bind didnt really have the story line as the first two did. I really wished it did, because it could have been really good. The two characters each had problems. But i wish SE Jakes went into their background more like how Law story did. Another i wished was we coukd have had an update with Law and Damon. But we got to see Tomcat from book 2. About 160 pages. Read it in give or take 4 hours. Nice addition, just wish there was more on a story line.

    Great read

Love this series. There are 6 out now and I highly recommend them all. Imperfectly, perfect characters, interesting stories and erotic love scenes. They have it all. I'm writing the same review for all of them because they are all entertaining in their own way with the same basic formula.

I felt that this book was too fast and too 'seperate' from the Men of Honor series. This book is not as good as the first two books and is a little too short, but it could be deemed as a sweet short story. It would have been better if the scene had taken place at "Crave" club or if one of the two men had known Tanner, Damon or even LC, but because it didn't, it seemed too seperate. Regardless, ti was a nice read, just don't expect much of a story line. Again though, it's a sweet read, just different from the previous two books.

Perhaps if this book was longer like the first two books, it would have been an amazing read because I loved the struggles the tow characters had and how they grow closer together.

    Okay read

Not as good as the earlier titls I read - liked the last part better than the first. Just didn't hold my interest as much as some of the others.
