Overview

Je'Rol is a man destined to die. Each day is a blessing and a curse on a world where he and those like him are feared and hunted. Like all half-blood demonlords, he is prone to blood rages in which he loses his humanity a little more each time. He can only delay the inevitable end when he will lose himself forever.

Before that happens, he hopes to find peace, but his quest for a legendary talisman to control the demon inside has far-reaching implications for the world of Derandria. Sought by demonlords to maintain their rule of the world and by humans longing to dethrone their demonlord masters, the Obelisk of Mai'Kari has the power to ignite a war. Je'Rol's final days will determine the fate of a world.

Don't know how many times you can growl?

Probably for high school readers. His claws come out, he growls, suffers much pain, etc. That's just the first hundred pages. Nothing has happened yet. May keep reading because I love pain. I may just start growling at my grocery clerk.

A Tiger's Tale Never Heard Before

M.A. Nilles takes her readers into the world of Je'Rol and the harsh life he's lived while on the run from those who want him dead. He is a threat to everyone around him, as all half-bloods fall prey to their Blood Rage and kill everyone in sight.

Je'Rol is on the verge of loosing himself to the mindless beast of his Blood Rage. To save himself, he searches for an ancient artifact that will allow him to control his demon blood. Unfortunate events have brought Je'Rol home, where he finds clues that the artifact is close by.

As much as want to tell you more. I don't want to spoil it for you. So, read the book and find out what happens to Je'Rol and everything that happens along the way. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Nilles is a wonderful author and i look forward to reading her next book for Demon Age.

This is defintely a must read

For anyone who loves stories with demons, sorcers, goblins, and more i would definetly recommend this book. Heck for that matter i would really even recommend to anyone who was just looking for something different from their normal reading. There's lots of action and the details this author uses for these characters without a doubt will make you be able to picture exactly what they look like! You will catch youself screaming, yelling, gasping, begging charchters to listen, and maybe even crying as you read this book. It is a very well thought out and very well written book by this Author and I hope there will be more to come!

    Great Read

I loved the book and the concept. I hope "M> A> Niles" comes out with the next book in this series quickly. The ending clearly is looking for a second book.
