About the Author

CLAUDIO TOLCACHIR(b. 1975, Buenos Aires) founded his theatre company, Timbre 4, in the late 1990s. In 2005 Tolcachir, already known to Buenos Aires audiences as a gifted actor and teacher, put himself and Timbre 4 on the international map with his multiple-award-winning play, La omisión de la familia Coleman (The Coleman Family's Omission). This initial success was soon followed by a second play, Tercer cuerpo (Third Wing, 2008), and together the two productions have toured to over fifteen countries. Today, Tolcachir continues to teach, write, and direct at Timbre 4 while acting and directing for the commercial and independent theatres of his native Buenos Aires.
