Meet the Author

Julie lives in Christchurch New Zealand. Julie served with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the early 80's and served overseas in Bangkok for a three year period. In her late 30's she re-trained and completed a diploma as a professional writer for children's stories. She has been steadily working on her children's series. It has been nicknamed 'The Realms" series. She is likened down under as the next JK Rowlings.
She explores alternative health after having a diagnosis of MS in her early 30's. She keeps good health and has also been working on an adult series of books. All ooky spooky stuff sprung board off her time of living on the west coast of the South Island where she spent nine years.

Julie loves to swim and enjoys bringing her girls up, she has two daughters and they live with their Rottweiler, Bailey.

Julie is also an avid gardener and house renovator, she loves turning old worn out homes into castles.

Julie is working part time for Michael Hill Jewellers and obtained a Diploma in Diamonds and has become a Diamondologist of late.
