Time/I Can Make It with You

All Music Guide - Richie Unterberger
The Pozo-Seco Singers' first two Columbia LPs are combined onto one CD for this reissue, with the addition of a couple of bonus tracks, the low-charting singles "I Believed It All" and "Louisiana Man." Including half-a-dozen minor hits in all, the disc in effect functions as a best-of for this slight but pleasant folk-pop trio. Their dated approach may work better as live background music at a beachfront cafe than it does on a CD re-release, but it's not a bad guilty pleasure all the same.

The Pozo-Seco Singers were the best of the best! Yes indeed, it was Don Williams, Susan Taylor (aka now Taylor Pie!) and originally Lofton Cline. BUT, replacing Lofton was Ron Shaw who can be heard clearly on I Believed it All, which I understand he brought to the Pozo's! He is also on Louisana Man! Ron was on the Shades of Time album, but was taken out of the credits and air brushed out of the picture, a mean thing they did to him when he left the group! Ron has since been successful over the years performing with his twin brother, Rick Shaw, as The Shaw Brothers! Pozo-Seco had such a unique, special sound and their music in my opionion is ''Timeless''!
