Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Booksmack!
Why is Uruguay in small letters on the cover? Oh, right, because no dude in his right mind would go there! You can't even spell this red-headed stepchild of a country. This book's pictures, however, are magnificent. Even the Queen of the Empanadas with her freaky-ass hat (p. 133) won't scare you away. The only book that seems to correlate the amount of its coverage with the significance of the region, this is useful, but not packed with details. It's the Chelsea Handler of Argentinean guidebooks: brassy and sexy but in need of some refinement. Douglas Lord, "Books for Dudes", Booksmack!, 12/2/10
