Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Booksmack!
Readable, detailed, and practically screaming "Everything is beautiful here!" this keeps a reader's prospective activities in mind. These include ranching (like City Slickers with sheep), trekking, fishing, hunting, skiing, diving, and climbing. I might even sign up for January's triathlon internacional La Paz. Meaty sections cover the massive Argentinean portion and the Chilean side ("a mirror image of California with some of British Columbia added in"). It sounds like the ultimate dude playground. Hot springs? Check. Volcanoes? Roger that. Steaks? Yep. The directory at the end will be helpful in getting you started, and there are even suggested itineraries.
