DISCLAIMER: This duology is part of my Watcher series of books. You need to have either read my Watcher's Trilogy or Watcher Chronicles. Appropriate for ages 13+.

Lilly and Brand’s daughter, Caylin, saw her soul mate for the first time when she was fourteen years old. After a simple exchange of smiles, she knew her life was set on a path which would lead Aiden back into her world forever. For three long years, Aiden keeps his distance from Caylin out of respect for her parents’ wishes. Being a Watcher who once gave into the dark side of his curse, Aiden uses the time to come to terms with his own demons and strives to become a man worthy enough for the granddaughter of an archangel.
Caylin learns that one of the Princes of Hell, Baal, is out to kill her. With the help of her family and Aiden, she discovers why he wants her dead and what she needs to do to stop him and the other princes from destroying not only her future but the future of the world.

I have only read the prologue so far so I will need to come back

I have only read the prologue so far so I will need to come back and write more after I am done with the book BUT I wanted to give my opinion on what I have read so far. Just from reading this short bit I am already hooked! I already love the love story and cannot wait to see how it develops. I love the interaction between Caylin and Brand, and Caylin and Lilly. I still find Malcolm mildly annoying, but I am assured I am the only female on the face of the planet that feels this way so don't let that sway you. I love the friendship between Leah, Josh and Caylin. And I love the note Aiden left for Caylin. So totes adorbs!!! I VERY MUCH look forward to reading the rest of the book!!!

I am gonna make a prediction and say I will TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this book...so...buy the book!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Okay, so I just finished Timeless and let me tell you...WOW!!! That was one hell of a kiss! And I was right about my prediction...I did LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!!!

I can't speak for the author but I have a feeling she was making the reader wait so long for the kiss because she wanted us to experience Caylin's frustration...and it worked! I found myself thinking, "OMG, KISS HER ALREADY!!!" But once it was experienced and I felt her frustration and then her joy, it was well worth the build-up and the wait.

I know a lot of people don't like build-ups and waiting, but I really think it was necessary to feel Caylin's frustration. If you read this book, don't be impatient or get aggravated to the point you put it down. Put yourself in this girls shoes and try to feel what she's feeling. This book is worth it. Caylin and Aiden are worth it.

I love this book so much! I honestly didn't want it to end, and I am truly saddened that it is only a 2 book storyline. I think out of all the books S.J. West has written, this one is my favorite.

It is a little slower paced than her other books and it doesn't have sex in it, but COME ON!!! This is a 17 yr old girl wanting her first kiss! I am happy there wasn't sex in it (it sends a VERY GOOD message to the youth who might be reading it). The book was sweet and tender, and it is about being in love--NOT LUST! If you want sex, sex, and more sex...go read 50 Shades! This is about true love and waiting until the time is right.

So what do I always say???...BUY THE BOOK!!
