Usually, free books are, well, crappy. To much spelling errors, dumb story line and it ends to quickly. But that wasn't the case for this book. It was amazing. Now most people would give paragraphs and paragraphs of detail but all you need to know is that this book has it. It has a dash of romance, action, and it makes you think a little. That's exactly what i look for in a book.

This book is no ordinary typical paranormal romance novel. It's plot is rarely boring&the characters will make you fall in love. The female lead isn't a stereotypical weak annoying teenage girl but quite the opposite. The male lead will make you wish guys like him were real. This book deserves applause. Not bad for a free book actually. Two thumbs up&5/5 stars!

I thought it sounded kind of corny at first especially in the overview but it isnt. Aeon is snarky with "dry wit and an evil streak" who practically called herself an introvert and is really quiet, while Alex is the new kid who is also being filmed and falls victim to Aeons charm. But does Alex have an evil streak too? Im not completely finished with it yet, but it is definatly good and holds my interest.

I stayed up till 2 in the morning just to read this. I loved the characters. While in my opinion it could have used a bit more action and conflict it's still my favorite book. I like that its supper clean and good for teenagers like me.

Great book! Great read! The ending was a tad rushed, and I wish that it had been stretched into a series.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I ended up liking this book. Aeon's character was funny and wity and I never found her to be annoying. Alex is freaking awesome and adorable. It ended too quickly, I think, but other than that it was a great book!

Usually free books are crappy and not put together well with a bunch of grammer mistakes. Times Daughter is a great read that I could not put down. I wish it would have turned into a series. Really looking forward to reading more from this writers work. Recomend to all.

I thought this book was amazing. It provided action and romance. You can usually tell why books are free, because they are just poorly written with a pointless plot line. This book wasnt like that at all. I admit that some of the major plot points passed quicker than I would have liked, but it was still a great read. Being a freshman in highschool, i can relate to the social aspects (obviously not the fantasy portions) like Ashley being a lying, rude teenage girl. It was a great book that i woukd recommend to my friends.

Good premise, lacking execution.  I wanted to like this book more, but the subplots fizzled, the ending was anticlimactic, and Aeon never really faced any consequences or challenges associated with her emerging powers.  There was a lot of potential for conflict with secondary characters that the author never delivered, and, although the book was free of spelling errors, there were many word choice errors that an editor should have caught.  Unfortunately, I will be passing on more works by this author.

The author has good ideas but doesn't elaborate enough. They didn't really solve the problem. If you continued the book and involve her time powers, dad, and how they really solved the problem it would be better

This was an good book over all but as the story went on the plot seemed to move faster as if the author really wanted to finish. Also the author really did not go into enough detail or involvement of her father and was rather vague about her interactions with her dad. The fight seen in the end was also lacking in depth. Overall great concept for a book and am hoping for more books from this author... maybe even sequal?

It started out good, but wrapped up in too much of a hurry. Ending was too quick - not really enough explaination as to why the 'things' were there at that place and that time, & why so many. Ending felt like the author just got bored with the story and put 'they lived happily ever after - the end'. Would like this book more if the ending was more thought out.

why are people calling this a quick read its 501 pages and i love this book its a mustread but i hate the epilogue (i think i spelled that wrong) the ending is way to happy this could of easy ben a whole chain of book cuz i dont get why she has all this stuff that could hunt her but it all stoped after that night i hate that part and the end is crazy happy i cant stand that but besides that just crazy amazing

This is definitely one of the better free books I've picked up. I feel like there were some things that could have been better wrapped up. What happened to the documentary? A better lead up and description of "the final battle" would have been good. Also Aeon honing her powers would have been really cool. Winning over Alicia, a little more research on wendigos, a scene where Ashley gets taken down a notch, and maybe a slight tiff between Aeon and Alex would have made the plot better. Good book, but it definitely left me unsatisfied and wanting a sequel.
