I enjoyed this book. Wouldn't rate it up there with the greats, but it was certainly worth the time to read. It was entertaining to watch how circumstances forced the mousey main character to grow and strengthen as the book progressed. I thought there might be a love interest growing, but it certainly was not a romance story, and therefore, did not end the way I thought it would. If you enjoy a good detective type mystery, without wanting to be at the edge of your seat in suspense the whole time, I think this is one you'd like.

This book is great! I loved the mystery and suspense of it. However, it is very descriptive on some rape scenes so I don't recommend this to a person who can't handle the mental images.

Certain elements needed far more development; others were rushed that needed far more time. Not a bad book, but not a great one.
