Tiny Tiny Houses

Overview

Tiny Houses contains the plans for forty-four houses so small that anyone can afford to have one—and so thoughtfully designed that anyone can build one—each offering the dream of solitude, a place to escape for a weekend of romance, meditation, or whimsy. Award-winning architect Lester Walker shows how, with a little energy and imagination, everyone's dream of owning a home, or having a second home in the country, is within reach.

    Exciting!

Finally a book that focuses on houses that save time in money. We live in such an age where sociey thinks we need these huge houses that we cannot afford just to keep up with the Joneses. Tiny Tiny Houses is a great, informable book and you will want to make these houses. Check out the Hot Pink house, and the Inside-Out House, Architects House, The house that rotates on a pipe for best light for writing. How about the Motel Unit from the Arirondaks. Just grest fun, good read, simple, just simple. No frills. Mr. Walker is an Professor of Architecture so you know you are getting the best research possible.

    Love this book!

I really enjoyed this book, it's very inspiring if you want to build your own little tiny 'house', be it a cabin in the woods or on the beach, a studio, a little place to get away from it all. I haven't built my little get-away yet, but I always think about the buildings in this book when I do.
