Meet the Author

Linda M. Magoon has nearly 30 years as a human resource manager and consultant in the area of employee retirement plans. She was written and developed hiring and firing policies and procedures for organizations, large and small, including for profit and not-for-profit groups. She is the author of 50 plus one Tips to Building a Retirement Nest Egg (Encouragement, 2006).Donna de St. Aubin's human resource and management expertise spans more than 25 years and includes executive human resource positions in the health care, manufacturing, financial and insurance industries. In addition to her experience in human resource management, planning and internal staffing, Ms. St. Aubin has also been involved in major corporation mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and consolidations. She develops and conducts executive management workshops and works frequently with companies in health care, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and service organizations. Her understanding of business cultures as well as the intricacies of organational design and development has enabled her to create programs that effectively position private and public companies for continued growth. She works with individual executives in coaching and mentoring along with teams and organizations. A frequent speaker before industry and management groups, Ms. St. Aubin has taught at the Uni!versity of Colorado and the University of Wisconsin Executive Management Institute. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Keller Graduate School of Management, and is currently a faculty member of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Ms. St. Aubin received an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and a B.A. from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a member of the Human Resource Planning Society, ASTD and Human Resource Management Association of Chicago. She is also active in church and community organizations.
