Alcohol isn't the only thing that can make a girl tipsy.
Julie Preston is an artist. But her canvas isn't paper or clay. It's hair. She spends her days coloring, blow drying and styling her clients hair at the Razor's Edge salon. Julie is also annoyed. She went out on a date and had a great time, gave the guy her number and the jerk never called.
So when he waltzes into the salon and sits down in her chair she briefly considers strangling him with the pink cape she fastens around his neck.
Too bad she can't.
Blue Markson, the guy who never called, is a police officer so causing him bodily harm would be a first class ticket into the slammer. Just looking at him again makes Julie forget why she was mad in the first place, but she's already learned that Blue is nothing but heartache. So when he starts coming around, acting like he hadn't made her stare at the phone for days, she tries to brush him off.
Only...
Her life is about to blow up in her face, she's about to get caught up in a sticky web of crime and the one guy who can help her is the one guy she vowed never to trust again.

4.8 Star Review – Tipsy (Take It Off #5)

    I recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book by Cambria. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, undercover, and a fight or two.

Cambria takes you on a suspense filled ride undercover to catch a killer and gets drugs off the streets.

Can you feel tipsy about a guy? You sure can as Julie finds out!!

Julie and Blue go on one date and he never calls her. What she does not know is that he went on an undercover mission. When he shows up at her job to get a hair cut he knows she is still mad at him. He still wants her so he asks her on another date.

When she gets stood up by him she is pissed. WTH is he pulling? She decides to go out with her friends. When she comes across him at the club they go to is she about to blow his cover?

You can feel the push & pull between Blue and Julie throughout the story. They are drawn to each other but at the same time trying to stay away from each other in order to keep them both safe.

If the bad guys Blue is trying to take down go after Julie he is going to lose everything he never knew he wanted.

Another phenomenal book in the "Take It Off" series!!!

I love Cambria Hebert's books!!! This book & like all the rest, she sucks you in just by reading the first page!!! This book has adventure, "action" (in every way imaginable), love, suspence, & it was HAWT!!!
Julie is a hairdresser & Blue is a cop/undercover cop!!! You can feel the chemistry between them upon their first encounter!!! It only escalates from there!!! Although it wasn't always happy times!!!
Cambria's books I believe are written & printed with a compelling potion!!! I just can't seem to stay away or ignore them!!! I bet the covers are printed with the compelling potion as well!!! I am going to have to question Cambria about this, but in the meantime read this book & the entire series!!! Its worth it to be compelled by them!!!
