    My interest in Titanic is entirely amateur, but this book gives very plausible ideas as to what people on the Titanic and on the Californian saw and didn't see. The explanations of the odd refraction of such cold air are understandable, and the illustrations are not over done. Any one with an interest in Titanic, or the north seas, should read this.
