Overview

From the #1 bestselling motherhood author, TMI Mom Heather Davis, comes her second essay collection on bringing sexy back in the hot and hilarious TMI Mom: Getting Lucky.

TMI Mom Heather Davis wanted that flame back after two kids had robbed her of spontaneity and adventure with her lover. (a.k.a. Husband Brian) She pulled out all stops — the cheap hotel, pole dancing lessons, a toy store, and even boudoir photos to bring back that lovin' feeling. Did it work? Find out in TMI Mom's hilarious hanky-panky tell-all.

Praise for Getting Lucky:

“The only thing funnier than a couple of exhausted parents trying to find the time, place and energy to indulge in a little sump'n sump'n, is Heather Davis's tales of the experience.” — Norine Dworkin-McDaniel, creator of Science Of Parenthood

"Heather Davis will have you laughing at her madcap quest to "get it on" with her husband, despite the gauntlet of parenthood and life getting in the way just about every time they're almost there."
— Jenny Gardiner, #1 Kindle bestselling author of Slim to None

Heather Davis is the reason Pinterest finally made private board

Heather Davis is the reason Pinterest finally made private boards. Hopefully her royalty check is very nice this month after all of us make our new private board entitled "Getting Lucky"- lol! Seriously, Heather brought a book to us that all married with children women can relate too. She tells what most only wish they had the "kahunas" to be so open about, some even in their marital relationships. She tells so we can relate, laugh and learn.  Now, how do we bring New Coke back? And will Brian ever add his own chapter?

Heather Davis¿ Getting Lucky is fresh and smart like everything

Heather Davis’ Getting Lucky is fresh and smart like everything she does in life. Her honesty is refreshing.  But, pole dancing class?  I kept thinking of the Jason Mraz song  Butterfly (look it up if you haven’t heard it). Of course she did it in “mom wedges” that she could later wear to church.
And then there was the body paint.  No one wants that mess on their sheets.  I laughed until I almost died over the satin sheets.   Best to go back to the 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton and no body paints to mess them up. A girl has to have her standards!
Funny and real Heather continues to drive home the point that there is nothing new under the sun.  Parents need a little time to themselves and sometimes go to ridiculous lengths to get it.
