The flaws of human nature emerge as a theme in the short story “To Build a Fire by Jack London about trying to survive the elements. In this tory a man travel in the Yukon on an extremely cold morning with a husky wolf-dog. At the beginning of the story the cold seem to not faze the man, but has the story progresses it begins to slow the man down and eventually brings the death of him. The dog in the story helps carry a vital role in the story. The dog represents an instinctual reaction the situation, unlike the man who depends on technology. This descriptive story is not only a story to entertain the readers; it is also a very informational story providing the readers with many life survival skills. Through out the story nature can be described as a dominant force in the story, but it is never show to actively attach the man. The wilderness would have been just as cold if the man had never walked along the trial, nature made no malicious act. The man’s own mistakes lead to his conflict with the environment. The man, in his hurry to save his own life, failed to notice the implications of his action and eventually caused his own death. London’s use of survival tactics keeps the reader on edge as the story progresses. As you read the story you never know what is to come next, if the guys was going to continue to survive or die from the harsh climates. After reading this story the reader learns that listening to your peers can play a vital role in your life.

(Heyyyyy so I've never joined BC before but it sounds fun so hi guys. :3)<br> A grey pelt shot through with alarmingly bright streaks of white and orange flashed in the undergrowth. Venom green eyes pieced the the clearing, and the tom stepped into BloodClan camp.

Who are you madly in love with? Who are the people/cats you absolutely despise? And what about you, are you hated or sought after by many? Find out at 'exude' results. Aren't you just a little bit curious?
