    The Best One Yet

This series keeps getter better and better every time I read the next book. In this caper, Abby gets to ¿snoop¿, oops, I mean investigate on behalf of her friend, Grace when she becomes the prime suspect in her wealthy friend¿s death. Not only does Abby have to split her time running her shop, investigating a murder, but also she has to navigate her upcoming wedding preparations and her fashion consultant cousin. I love this series and this was the best one yet. This smartly written mystery kept me turning the pages as fast as I could read with non-stop action and fun. The gang is back with Abby¿s mom and her artwork; Grace and her quotes and Jillian being Jillian who makes me laughs. I enjoyed watching Abby become a stronger and more confident person in her investigative approach and in dealing with her family dynamics. This is the best book yet in this fabulously entertaining and charming series and I look forward to the next adventures with the team from the Flower Shop series.

    I Also Recommend:

    The best one yet!!!

You already know I loved To Catch a Leaf but I truly believe this is the best book Kate has written. This story is multifaceted and complex and perfectly paced. There are twists and surprises along with the comfort of the characters we have all grown to love.

When reading about Marco's mom trying to overtake the wedding I had to pause and think "did Kate ever meet my mother?" While we are not Italian reading about Francesca was just like conversations I had with my own mother while planning my own wedding. I had a real feeling of Déjà vu. If you are a fan of this series you know Kate characters are so true they almost jump off the page as is absolutely the case in this installment.

I don't want to give to much away.
This story is a must read!!
I wish I could give it 10 STARS!

If you have not started this series or are behind you have until November to find out everything about Abby, Grace, Lottie, Marco and all the rest of the characters from New Chapel, Indiana.

    a wonderful amateur sleuth mystery

Having finally flushed away her doubts, Bloomers flower shop owner Abby Knight is engaged to Marco Salvare, owner of Down the Hatch Bar & Grill. When Abby finds an injured cat, she takes the animal to the vet, pays the bills and brings the feline into her home until she locates and notifies the owner.

Abby's employee and friend Grace Bingham leaves the store to visit her buddy ultra wealthy Constance Newport. Grace is away from the shop for a long time before calling Abby explaining she found the body of Connie in what Grace believes is a murder. Since she reported the corpse, the cops have Grace at the top of the suspect list. However, the police are also looking at the victim's family and learn Connie was disappointed with her children and their spouses. The family members rage when the will states that Connie left her money to her cat Charity with Grace as the feline's guardian. Thus a motive surfaces that has the police renewing their efforts to prove Grace killed Connie. While jewel and art thefts complicate the murder whodunit, Abby and Marco investigate those living on the late Connie's estate and quickly find a retinue with reasons to kill their benefactor.

The latest Flower Shop Mystery (see Night of the Living Dandelions) is a wonderful amateur sleuth starring the cute lovebirds cooing and clueing as they search for a killer and a thief. The protagonists are easy to like as they are caring, concerned people who are there for their family and friends. Although the action is limited with much off stage, readers will enjoy Kate Collins' To Catch a Thief, a thief and a killer.
