Overview

Genre: BDSM Contemporary Suspense
Series: Masters of the Shadowlands; Previous Book: Make Me, Sir

Determined to find the human traffickers preying on Shadowlands' submissives, Master Raoul gets himself invited to a small slave auction. Once informed, the FBI orders him to reject the limited choices so the slavers will invite him to the big auction. To Raoul's shock, one of the slaves is the kidnapped friend of a Shadowlands sub. She has a scarred body...and an unbroken spirit. He can't leave her behind. Ruining the FBI's carefully laid plans, he buys her.

Kimberly's freedom has come at a devastating price: the other women are still slaves. An FBI raid is their only hope for rescue. Desperate to help the Feds locate the big auction, she agrees to pose as Master Raoul's slave. Wearing a collar again is terrifying, but under the powerful dominant's care, Kim starts to heal and then to blossom. This is what she's been drawn to-and fled from-her entire life.

She escaped the slavers who captured her body-can she escape the master who's captured her heart?

Thanks a lot ms sinclair! i've been going to work dead as a dog

Thanks a lot ms sinclair! i've been going to work dead as a dog staying up to read each of the shadowland series books!!! i want to read til the end of the chapter but get sucked into the next chapter until i'm "almost done" then i just stay up to finish it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the stories! Your characters reinforce my thought: not all guys are men, not all men are gentlemen, some gentlemen are perfectly naughty! Thanks! keep writing!

    edgy novel

Caution: Some may find this edgy novel hard to read as it does contain details of human trafficking that is not tied up in a pretty little bow. One instance is that Kimberly has to continuously fight against her memories of rape and torture. In my opinion, the details are both vague enough that there is not a play by play of each gory scene and yet descriptive enough that the reader will truly get the emotional, mental, and physical battle that Kimberly deals with. Wonderful again

If kink is your read then Cherise Sinclair is your author. She weaves a good love story into the kink of the club life that leaves you panting and flushed. Each book tells the story of another Dom coming to life with the sub of his dreams. This Dom sets out to help uncover a slave trade and it gets interesting! The entire series is a must read!

Excellent!!! 5 STARS does Not do it justice!!

Wow! Were do i begin? An amazing ending to a fantastic series. I'm so glad that i read every book. (You really need to to understand the caracters) this book was the best in my opinion. Very gripping. Very emotional. The darkness in the book was very intense. The sex was well written and not tacky. The love of the two main characters towards each other...such strength and tenderness. I had read many of the reviews and was a bit worried when a few said they were let down by the ending. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Don't know what planet they were on when they wrote that. Enjoy the book. You'll be happy you did.

Not bad, but not best in series

I just felt that the story wasn't as good as the other books in this series. I think it was because we don't see the other Shadowland characters enough.
