Unfortunately, this book seemed very slow paced and not as exciting. I didn't feel there was much 'meat' to the story but am curious to see how it will unravel.

If you like Janet Evanovich's Number series, then the Dulcie O'Neil and Jolie Wilkins books are for you. Full of light heared fun as these two "special" ladies get into all kinds of antics as they try to save the world, or at least their little part of it. And the men they encounter along the way put even more sizzle into a rollicking good read..

I have this on my Nook but the same applies to paper and digital:
Dulcie O’Neil is a Fairy. Not your frolic-in-the-woods Fairy, but a Regulator – sort of a cop for the Netherworld paranormals. A Warlock who dealt in illegal potions was murdered, and Dulcie was the last one to see him alive (presumably), she is tasked with finding his murder. Dulcie, and this gorgeous hunk who shows up from the Netherworld hot on the trail, we get more gruesome murders, romance, and good sleuthing. A fun read, with quite a bit of sexual references.

This is a fun and fast read. A great book to introduce the series. Dulcie is a smart, lovable and slightly sarcastic character. Great for a snowy day or a hot beach day. Enjoy! ~I

Interesting take on paranormal, yet the first two books are not as well written as the books 3 and 4. I like the Dulcie character, but sometimes her personal decisions don't make sense considering she is a detective. Despite these things, I am looking forward to the next book. I think this author will improve with more writing and more time. I really like the concept of her "world."

I loved this book and it seriously hooked me from the start! I flew
through the pages and when I finished reading it I couldn't wait to go
on to book #2. Dulcie is very likable - being witty, smart and well
really kinda kick butt. This book reminded me of a supernatural
"Alias". I am seriously looking forward to reading book #2.
Pick it up if you are looking for something sinfully entertaining!
