Two men from different parts of the world form an unbreakable bond of friendship amid the most unlikely of circumstances. While searching for the remains of American soldiers missing from the Vietnam War, an Army lieutenant and a Cambodian interpreter unearth 300 skeletal remains. Upon touching one of the skulls, both men receive the unique ability to see death before it actually occurs.
