Overview

When warriors are trapped in combat, Jack, Derek, Blane, and Mark form a four man para-rescue team that rushes in where angels fear to tread. The men are from Louisiana and although they are dubbed with the handle “Saints,” they are anything but innocent. Read their stories to learn how these military men find love and keep their families safe from harm.

Sara Hudson doesn't remember her own name – or anything else about her life. When Derek Clayton rescues her from a deserted highway, Sara finds she can’t say no to the sexy stranger. Lost from all she knows, Sara becomes the submissive to Derek’s dominance. Although she doesn’t understand why she yields to his demands, she can’t deny the blazing passion for the man who seems to know exactly how to satisfy her needs.

The only thing Derek Clayton has more of than secrets is money. He offers Sara help with one goal in mind – to keep her in the dark until he can work out the events that left her stranded without a memory. Can they give up the constraints of the past to find their happy ending or will his secrets and past love threaten their future?

This 17,000 word novella is intended for mature audiences. It contains a submissive amnesiac seduced by a sexy stranger whose smooth talking skills and sweet kisses leave them burning up the sheets with smoking hot sex.

Storyline was unexpected and I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this quick read containing steamy sex, emotions and mystery. Loved Derek and Sara's characters and their chemistry. Story was a little rushed and wished it was longer but was impressed. .

Let me start off with saying I really did enjoy this book. I just really wish it was longer. I feel like the story was rushed.

The story begins with Sara walking down the side of a dark, cold street. Not only is she wandering around aimlessly. She doesn't know how she got the cut the cut on her head. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is she doesn't know who she is!!!

As she's walking down the road a car pulls over. Derek Clayton gets out of the car. Man oh man, is he sexy!! He asks her the usual questions... Are you OK? Are you hurt? Why are you wandering around in the middle of the night? What's your name? When she couldn't answer anything he offers to give her a ride. They end up back at his house. He cleans up her cuts and scratches. Gives her Tylenol and gives her a name "Sara". Then,  shows her the spare bedroom.

She wakes up the next day with a set of clean clothing sitting on the dresser waiting for her. Sara goes downstairs to Derek waiting for her. Before he gets ready to run some errands he gets her settled on the couch with the TV remote. Sara falls asleep for awhile. Derek wakes her up a little while later.

Next thing she knows he has taken control and they're having sex right there on the couch. Sara knows that she really shouldn't be having sex with a complete stranger. But, something about it felt right, almost familiar.

Over the next couple of days Sara learned things that were life changing. Derek took such good care of  Sara. They had sex... A LOT of sex!!!!

I can't really give to much more away. I can tell you there's def a interesting backstory to Derek & Sara that I feel was rushed. I really can't say this enough but I wish this story was longer & with more detail. But, I really did like this book.
