Chapter One

I know you are hurting right now and that life seems filled with uncertainty.

It must be frustrating to hear people say how STRONG you appear to be when you really do not feel that way.

No one can truly understand the pain you feel in your own heart.

Yet, as a caring friend I feel so helpless.

I just want to take away the pain, however, I know I cannot.

It is not in my hands.

What I can do is offer you friendship ... genuine friendship.

A friend loves at all times. PROVERBS 17:17

Friendship in its purest and sincerest form.

A gentle hug, a cup of coffee, a hand to hold.

As a symbol of my love & support please accept this book of redeemable words and acts.

They have no limits, no expiration dates.

Redeem them one by one or all at once.

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God. PSALM 146:5 NIV

I have only one request ... that you have HOPE

Hope ... for a better hour, a better day, a better place.

Hope that in time you will once again feel joy in your heart.

Meanwhile, find support in these redeemable words and acts ... they are my gift to you.

a shoulder to lean on ... when you need to lean

a phone ca;; morning, noon, or night

a patient listener When you want to Reminisce

quiet time together

a tissue to wipe away the tears

KNOWING ... Knowing I will be here for you when you feel like smiling and when you feel like just being sad.

A real friend sticks closer than a brother. PROVERBS 18:24 NLT

And now I pray for the God for all comfort to enfold you in His arms so that your heart, soul, and mind would be filled with His everlasting peace and love, now and for always.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. PSALM 119:114 NKJV
