Meet the Author

I've always had a passion for art and writing ever since I can remember. But it really wasn't until my junior year in high school when I first attended public school that I learned the full extent of my natural talents and desires as a writer.Because of my excellent marks in the English classes at the private school I attended, my counselor decided to immediately place me in Advanced Placement Language. The following year, I took Advanced Placement Literature, where I found my true calling as a writer and literary annotator. That calling fell to the wayside when I at first attended Barton College as a nursing student. But it came back full force when a series of events led me to change my major to English. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English and since then have gone on to begin writing, illustrating, and self-publishing my first book series entitled The Raven's Song Saga.

    Palls in comparison

With all of the rich and original vampire novels out there, this one did not even come close to comparison. The plot was weak, the characters lacked depth and motivation, the "rules of the world" were the most obvious stereotypes. There was nothing new gained by reading this, my mind was not enriched, nor curiosity raised.
