SWAT officer Landry Cooper happens to be in a bank when he senses something’s about to go down, just as he starts to talk to a beautiful woman. Everly Danu doesn’t normally go for the alpha male, bu the cop that starts talking to her is hard to resist. When he saves her life during a bank robbery, she promises him the best date of his life. Unfortunately she doesn’t know that he’s hiding a big secret, he’s a werewolf. Like the other books the author has written, the story and characters were well written. There was also an introduction to a possible danger against the werewolves. I really enjoyed the story. I recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest

Loved the story of Landry and Everly! I need to know more of the back story of Everly's mom now though! Plus, Everly's brothers need their own stories now. :D

Hot alpha male SWAT officer (and werewolf) Landry Cooper will make your heart go pitty pat. He saves the girl and is smitten. Now he just has to convince her and her family that he is the guy for her. Playing with bombs is what he does not who he is. Ride along with Cooper and the guys as life as he knows it is about to explode. Action, adventure and romance a perfect read.

This series has is the perfect mix of Paranormal Romance and Romantic Suspense. We have a Dallas SWAT team, so there is all manner of the police/criminal element with lots of fantastic action and solid suspenseful moments. Mix in them all being Alpha Werewolves, and this adds a layer of Paranormal that gives this series and masterful edge. Throw in the whole HEA thing and it's the perfect mix of romance, suspense, and paranormal for those of us who just can't get enough of either genre. Cooper has a been a sweetheart of a guy in the previous three books, helping the guys to come to terms with and accept that the awesome new woman in their life just might be The One. Being able to see Cooper get his shot at it, and almost blowing it, was lead to an excellent read. We are back to a werewolf/human mix. But there is a serious twist this time with Everly's family that helped to fill in more world building with new details. I was happy to be able to see more of our previous couples through the eyes of Cooper, as well as getting the scoop on some secondary characters road to an HEA that spans multiple books in secondary plot lines. Everly and Cooper had great chemistry together right from the start, with their introduction coming in the form of a bank robbery that Cooper stops, oh and while doing so, saves Everly's life. Take the following exchange for example: “Well, if a date is the thanks you’re looking for, I can promise you one thing,” she said. “What’s that?” She stepped closer, and if they hadn’t been in the middle of a crime scene, he wouldn’t have been surprised if she’d gone up on her tiptoes to kiss him. And he sure as hell wouldn’t have stopped her. “That you’re in for the very best date of your life,” she said. I can't get enough of this series, and while you could probably read these as stand alone, you will miss the details and slow but steady world building that has been taking place through out the books. And why would you want to do that? I am as thrilled with this book as I was with the first. 4 Stars for a Great Read! Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca provided me with this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

HOT and thrilling paranormal romantic suspense!!!!! "I'll call you tomorrow," he said softly. Incapable of speech at the moment, Everly could only nod. At the door, Cooper turned to give her a grin. "By the way. Best. Date. Ever." To Love A Wolf Or Not? That is the foolish question and the heroine's answer can be found within the exciting, fast-paced paranormal urban fantasy romance TO LOVE A WOLF by Paige Tyler. It is the fourth book in her SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series, but it can easily be enjoyed as a standalone, if that is your preference. There are captivating interconnected characters who figure prominently in each tale, so just know that the more you read of the series, the greater your pleasure will be increased. TO LOVE A WOLF is the story of ammunitions expert Landry Cooper and Everly Danu. I was elated to see that TO LOVE A WOLF was Landry's story as he's been on my mind since the previous book. He's such a sweetheart. As the story begins, in a flashback, readers learn about the horrendous incident involving explosives that ended Landry's military career and precipitated Landry becoming a wolf-shifter. We then flash forward to the present day as serendipity has Landry and Everly meet as they stand in line at the bank. Serious sparks fly between them from the get-go. Then, talk about timing and being in the wrong place at the wrong time! BANG! BANG! BANG! Robbers pick that moment to target the bank and Landry finds that he's the only one standing between the robbers and the innocents in the bank including Everly. His wolf adamantly demands that Everly be protected! Vastly outnumbered, Landry has to safeguard all while concealing his super abilities. Landry and Everly are a great couple and she is the perfect match for him! He is sweet, charming and a white knight. He's always been the stable, trusted, go-to guy for the team whenever they have problems. Now he finds the tables turned being in a quandary himself and needing assistance. Everly is very close to her family after having been raised by her father and her three brothers after her mother died. They are understandably very protective of her. That said, of necessity, she is tough and has learned to stand up for herself. Even so, it's still important to Everly to have her family accept Landry. But, when she introduces Landry to them, her family vehemently rejects him leaving her to choose between Landry and her family. Since it's a SWAT book, we get the pleasure of catching up with the Team! Becker, Xander, Khaki, Jayna and the rest of the extended kith and kin all make appearances! The teasing and heartwarming fellowship that is as natural as breathing to the group always makes me smile! As an aside, the author discloses in her comments that the inspiration for Landry and Everly was patterned from her and her hubby's own relationship. I thought that was really neat to share and it made Landry's and Everly's story even more special. Paige is one of my favorite authors. All her SWAT guys are tough, wickedly yummy alphas. Her next book can't come soon enough! Thank goodness, readers don't have long to wait as A WOLF UNLEASHED featuring wolf shifter Alex Trevino's story is coming December 2016! I recommend TO LOVE A WOLF to anyone who enjoys hot and thrilling paranormal romantic suspense! You won't be disappointed! My review is posted at Reading Between The Wines Book Club. Please check it out there!

This is one novel that will leave you all hot and bothered! Tyler cranks up the chemistry throughout as her larger than life characters battle life and death situations amidst the wonders of falling in love. The plot was intricately crafted and the wonders of the werewolf world really shone. I love how Tyler explains the inexplicable in ways that allow you to picture it happening right next door to you. As exciting and fast paced as this novel is, Tyler also definitely had me in tears more than once. Emotions are ramped up as characters battle coming to grips with their new realities. As exciting as the plot of this novel was, the characters were even better. Landry’s alpha personality drew me in from the first moment that I met him. He is not the type of character that you can ignore. Everly’s heart and her definite stance, knowing her own mind, was fantastic. Everly’s family was definitely an unexpected twist in this cast. Their prejudices and overbearing natures were the exact opposite to the SWAT team’s personalities yet at the same time, their caring and love for family can’t be mistaken. This was a fantastic addition to Tyler’s SWAT series that is a must read for anyone who enjoys high energy suspense and some drool-worthy shifters. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

I loved Cooper and Everly's story, and like all of the SWAT (Special Wolf Alpha Team) guys, they put themselves out there to do the tough job while keeping their wolf side quiet. "To Love A Wolf", how could you not fall in love with Cooper? Oh, and wow, are these guys hot! While Cooper is one tough ex-military swat team wolf, he has such a soft and gentle side which shows in his love for Everly when her past comes back as she learns what he is. But then again, Everly's family has a hand in coming between the lovers because of her past. Paige Tyler writes wonderful fully developed stories of suspenseful romance with such a great flow in her writing of a book that the words fly off the pages and before you know it, you are waiting for the next one. For me, I would say, impatiently. Of course, we do have a HEA and some new characters as well as some old ones, for another yet another great story to come in the swat series. Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for gifting me with an ARC copy of "To Love A Wolf" and asking me for my honest opinion. The review is my own. Highly recommend..4.5 Stars!

To Love a Wolf by Paige Tyler is the 4th book in her SWAT series. I have enjoyed each and every book in this series. To Love a Wolf was a fantastic addition to Tyler’s SWAT series. We start 3 years in the past, when our hero, Landry Cooper is disarming a bomb, when to his dismay, he realizes he missed another bomb. The bomb explodes, causing him serious injuries. We switch to current time, when Landry is fully recovered and now working with the SWAT police team. If you have read the earlier books, then you know that the SWAT team are all secret werewolves. Their ability and strength make them a powerful group that brings down even the most violent criminals, but no one knows why or how they do it. While online in a bank, Landry stands behind an attractive young lady, who seems to be attracted to him. Before he can introduce himself, his senses alerts him that a robbery is about to happen. When the young lady is used by one of the robbers, Landry quietly uses his speed to stop the robbers, and save Everly, our heroine. What follows is a romance between two people who feel the bond quickly. Landry knows that Everly is the ONE. They both are falling hard for each other, and when Everly brings Landry to meet her family, things change. The family knows that Landry is a werewolf, which Everly does not know yet. The brothers try to hurt Landry to force him to leave Everly along. When neither listens, they gang up on him, and in doing so, Everly discovers the truth. Will she be able to accept him being a werewolf? Will Landry be able to convince Everly that despite her mother’s death years before from a rogue werewolf, not all werewolves are bad? A major part of the story centers around the bombs being used in the robbery and other ones. The man who played a major part in saving Landry’s years before brings an emotional element to the story. I love this series, and love when we get to see many of the wonderful characters we have come to love. This was a wonderful romance between Everly and Landry, which was sweet and very sexy. We grieved with Landry, when he thinks he has lost Everly. What I love about Tyler’s writing is she is a master at blending a sexy sweet romance, with a great couple and not letting it overtake the exciting pulse pounding storyline revolving around the SWAT team. To Love a Wolf was a wonderful addition to the SWAT series.

TO LOVE A WOLF is what suspense is all about, is what paranormal romance is all about, it has it all, and superbly well done! The suspense and action could easily stand on their own, and the romance alone is worth reading, but combined, you have a book that can’t be beat! Landry Cooper, from the Dallas Police Department’s SWAT team meets Everly Danu under peculiar circumstances: during a holdup in a bank. Being a werewolf, Landry needs to be careful not to be noticed, but it proves a tad difficult, especially when he needs to save Everly. TO LOVE A WOLF has a literally explosive beginning, and this is just the tip of the iceberg! This is a supremely exciting book, full of action and extremely fast paced, and I think Landry and Everly might be my favourite best couple in this series. They are both very engaging people, I liked them right away, and their connection was so well written, and felt so authentic, that within a few pages, I was rooting for them. The romance is entirely convincing, the chemistry between Landry and Everly is undeniable, and the sex scenes are some of the best ever from this author. Paige Tyler has written an exceptionally tight plot, the paranormal element is exploited in a most original way, and made for unexpected soul-searching for one of the characters. TO LOVE A WOLF is intense, sweet, suspenseful, sexy, intelligent, and impossible to put down. Paige Tyler has set the bar for herself extremely high again. And read the Acknowledgements: they are some of the most interesting I have ever read. TO LOVE A WOLF is a resounding success! Paige Tyler’s To Love a Wolf is a thrilling addition to the SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team Series. SWAT officer Landry Cooper saves the life of Everly Danu. He is certain she is the one, but when her family discovers that he is a werewolf, they try to keep them apart. This PNR/Urban Fantasy novel takes place in Dallas, Texas. It is suitable for adults. To Love a Wolf has become my new favorite book in this series. I could not put it down. One exciting thing happened after the other. I was impressed with Paige Tyler’s EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) knowledge. I wasn’t surprised when I read in the acknowledgement that her husband and writing partner was a former Army EOD for twenty years. It was obvious in the writing. The novel was extremely credible. I like how the story started with how Landry was turned while her served in the army outside Samarra City, Iraq in 2009. I also, loved its relevance in the story. The characters are well-developed and likeable. It was great that Gage’s and Mac’s (from book one) wedding was in this story. I appreciate how close the SWAT team is. Landry is the wolf all the other guys always go to for advice. It was interesting to see that tables turned on him in this story. I like Everly. Her family’s background was an interesting twist to the story. They are understandable overprotective over her. SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team is an excellent series for anyone who enjoys PNR/Urban Fantasy with a law enforcement element. I am looking forward to Alex Trevino story. Tyler, national bestselling author of the Alpha Pack series "Wow, just wow!"-Fresh Fiction My Thoughts (view spoiler) What I really enjoyed was the fact that Everly as a human female does not automatically take to the idea of being The One for Landry, however as a couple these two could light up a city block with the sparks they generate together. The male Danu family members issues with Landry manage to cloud their path to happiness, while it also a couple of times becomes almost comical despite being serious when Landry proves that they cannot keep he and Everly apart. The real danger that lurks in an unexpected source becomes the center of a SWAT investigation and an eye opener for Landry too. The same person also threatens Everly which happily ends well for all concerned, except him. As in previous books this one featured one of the members of the eclectic SWAT team, a team made up of some of the hottest alpha males to grace any readers eyes as they enjoy the tales penned by talent of one of my now favorite go to authors Paige Tyler. Filled with action and suspense this was exactly what I hoped for and expected to enjoy after the previous three books in the series entertained me greatly as well.
