Each day also closes with a benediction, such as, "May Christ be the template by which love shapes itself in you." It's about true Christianity, about worship, about devotion, about ourselves, and much much more.An incredibly generous book, you could say it's the little book with the big heart. And finally, as it says in the Prologue, offering us perhaps the clearest description of itself, "This is a book of love. It only thinks it's a devotional."

A modern day David the Psalmist

A great book unlike any other devotional. David's gifted ability to express his thoughts and emotions so poetically help take you so close to the meaning and experience of love and Christ. Your heart can read this book. A gift I will share with my friends.

    Wonderful daily benedictions!

This devotional is one that I've read year after year and I've enjoyed the daily benedictions at the end of each daily devotional.
