I bought this and didn't notice the authors name but as soon as I started reading the heavy handed use of the exclamation point gave it away. For some reason this author has a love affair with exclamation points! It's really annoying when every other sentence.ends with an.exclamation point! In my head the characters are yelling all the time. Completely distracts me.from enjoying any kind of story line! See, it's annoying! Anyhow, couldn't get past the first chapter despite how.intrigued I was. I'm curious as to how her editor doesn't remove some exclamations like by a lot.
