Two years later, Thea knew the injured stagecoach robber in her sister's examining room couldn't be the same man she'd loved since she was eight years old, the bridegroom who'd been tragically killed by a gunman's bullet. His dark eyes might have ...

More About This Book

Overview

"We'll Meet Again..."
Those were the last words of Wade Preston as his life's blood stained the pure white of Thea's wedding dress, draining onto the church floor where they were to have been married.

Two years later, Thea knew the injured stagecoach robber in her sister's examining room couldn't be the same man she'd loved since she was eight years old, the bridegroom who'd been tragically killed by a gunman's bullet. His dark eyes might have the same smoldering look as Wade's, his deep voice might send shivers of longing down her spine, but his personality was tough and untamable, so different from the tender caring of her fiancé. This hard case could never arouse her slumbering passions, simply could not be the lost lover who still possessed her steadfast heart...or could he?

    Exciting historical romance

In 1880 Georgia, Reverend Martin performs the marriage ceremony that will wed Wade Preston and Elizabeth Radcliffe. However, before she can complete her vows, shots are fired leaving a dead groom whose last words to his beloved is ¿We¿ll meet again¿.
Two years later, a still grieving Elizabeth heads to Wyoming to stay with her Aunt Dr. Victoria Sills. However, robbers stop her coach and steal her valuables. A stunned Elizabeth believes one of the thieves sounds just like and has the eyes of her beloved but dead Wade. Not long afterward, two men carry an unconscious male to Doc Victoria. The man is Wade even if he claims to be Quinn Banning. He wonders why Elizabeth has not turned him into the law and she wonders how the man she buried is standing in Wyoming. Yet love flourishes between the Georgia peach and the Wyoming bandit.
TO MEET AGAIN is an exciting western romance that grips the reader from the first page to the last. The action is non-stop as Quinn plays a dangerous game that Elizabeth cannot help but join. The characters are fully developed, but in the end it is the rich plot including whether a pinch of the paranormal, divine intervention, or a weird coincidence occurred that stirs the fans. That is part of the pleasure for the audience who will bow to the skills of Elaine Barbieri that enable the author to hook the crowd into reading all 375 pages in one delightful sitting.
Harriet Klausner
