Overview

Ripped from the pages of the New York Times bestselling series The Family Business, Carl Weber and Eric Pete bring you To Paris with Love, a solo story about their two most popular characters to date—the bright, sexy, and deadly Paris Duncan and her flamboyant and cunning twin brother, Rio.

It's spring break and Paris Duncan is on the verge of graduating at the top of her class from Chi's Finishing School, one of Europe's most exclusive private academies. At Chi's students not only learn the three Rs, but they also learn the deadly art of assassination.
Like most of her classmates, Paris is looking forward to going back home. She can't wait to get back to the bright lights of New York City, where she plans on clubbing with her twin brother Rio, scarfing down her mom's cooking, and wearing out her father's credit cards. A family crisis puts an end to her trip home in favor of a solo trip to the French Riviera.
Rio Duncan has been accepted into one of the most prestigious law schools in the country and his father, LC Duncan, couldn't be more proud of him. Unfortunately for LC, Rio has plans of his own, and they don't include law school. If that weren't surprise enough, Rio's got a few more things to tell his dear old dad, one of which is that he is gay.
Now that he's come out of the closet, Rio is in the wind. He's headed to Europe to live life by his own rules and hook up with his sister for some fun in the European sun. Together Rio and Paris will do what they do best—have fun, find trouble, and break men's hearts.
Travel with Weber and Pete to Europe, to see how Paris and Rio became the dynamic duo of the Duncan clan.

I love Carl Weber's books.  This book started off a little foggy, but it added to the mystery. I was fighting to understand what was going on but they I quickly started to piece together what was going on. This was sort of a coming of age tale gone completely wrong but still accomplishing its purpose none the less. The story is a tale of Paris Duncan from the Family Business collection and how she became the stone cold killer she is. But it also reveals a softer side of the family trouble-shooter. This book will make you feel happy, sad, angry, pissed, happy again, and then heart-broken. Then you have your aha moment in the end that brings it all together. Filled with thrills, twists, sex, murder and a good plot this story will keep you turning pages until you get to the end. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Cant wait for the Family Business III to come out next year. - Norman LaVelle

Man I freaking love Carl Weber. As a girl from Queens and a graduate from VSU he is just my favorite authors. I literally own every book he has written and can finish a book in a day. That's how great he is.

I enjoyed this book but it was missing something that grabbed me in the Family Business Series. And I was disappointed in the ended.

This book was good, but it wasn't his best. It took quite awhile for the storyline to come together. But once it does, it becomes very interesting & a hard book to put down. I can def. see this book turning into a movie. A bonnie & clyde type of thing. The ending was good too & of course left you on the edge of your seat waiting for the sequel, but I'll admit that I got so close to the characters while reading that I was very saddened at the end! lol That's the mark of a great author. Overall, would I buy it? No. Would I rent it at the library? Absolutely.
