Overview

Isolated in the glamour of Hollywood, Clara Summers unintentionally discovers an innate power to heal as her twin brother lies near death. This power is tied to an unknown Costa Rican heritage kept secret since her childhood. Transformed by her brother’s miraculous recovery, Clara realizes that she has lived her life as an automaton and with her awakening ability nothing will ever be the same again. Evil closes in and surrounds her like a diaphanous lover to manipulate and affect every aspect of her life. No one is safe from its untold pain and sorrow, not even her only grounding force—Dr. Alexander Bradford. Clara must develop faith in herself and her power to fight the pseudo-celestial forces threatening all hope of happiness.

Meet the Author

Mary and Susan are friends once more to be—when they met, it was an instantaneous recognition of spiritual friendship. Their combined talents make a whole writer, maybe because Susan is left-handed and Mary is right-handed. They each have homes in the beautiful Northern California Sierras. They hope you enjoy their stories as much as they enjoyed writing them.

Just read this book and loved it! The bad guy will give you nightmares. It was thought provoking...I constantly kept asking, "Could this really happen?" The interlaced humor and romance balanced the darkness. I would recommend this novel without hesitation.
