To Stir a Magick Cauldron is an enjoyable and informative read if you already have background experience in craftwork. It takes you step by step into the realm of engaging spirit through various methods, all of which assume you have basic knowledge and some level of experience. Yet at the same time, one can jump in and follow the suggestions but without knowing how and what to visualize when casting, or how to word or why self and spacial preparation is important, for example, one will miss the true essence of the work and risk causing more harm than good.

It's very good if you are new to the Craft. Silver Ravenwolf's my favorite magickal author. I also recommend 'To Stir a Magick Cauldron', 'To Light a Sacred Flame', and 'Teen Witch'.

This book teaches u from calling the elments to even talking to the Elders. This book is great it may take u a while to learn everything but it is great and in addition it tells you u need to know to be a first, second, and third degreed witch. So, quit wishing you were a Witch! well now here is a book for an Intermediate learner. HAPPY WITCHING!

This book has useful techniques for meditation, casting circles, and helping to create change within yourself. The book also details spellwork in conjunction with the moon, different types of magic (candle, cord, etc.) Silver discusses the mechanics of quarters and salutes, along with exercises she calls "hocus focus." All in all, this book is perfect for the beginner looking for the next step.

This book isn't for a new comer but if you are getting bored with the 101 books this is the book for you. It deepens your understanding of the Craft more spirtuality and not necessary magickally. However TRaSB balances it out. I would recemmend this to anyone who is willing to take up a challanged...Silver you have done it again!

This book has it all. But you should read to ride a silver broomstick first, that way it will make more sense.

So Llewellyn the goden dawn troupe is peddling this commercial stuff,, I'm concerned .their early stuff was decent but I am hearing alot or info that they withhold info from their books. Where's Regarde.when you need him.....Do yr research . There are great places like hermetic .com and other great publisher's or grimore and Magick books

This is another 'must have' book full of information and insights on how to build on what she gives the reader in '... Silver Broomstick' Magic Cauldron is full of useful rituals and spells and sometimes funny stories about balancing being a wife, mother and witch.

This book is worth reading to help you gain more knowledge about The Craft. My only complaint is that it was NOT as good as the first book - To Ride A Silver Broomstick.
