Overview

At the end of a dry uphill ride over barren country Jean Isbel unpacked to camp at the edge of the cedars where a little rocky canyon green with willow and cottonwood promised water and grass. (Excerpt)

The bloody feud between the Jorth and Isbel families has been unrelenting, vicious, unforgiveable, and deadly. Save for the hearts of two impossible lovers, the feud might have killed all members of both families. Harper's first 13 Zane Grey republished titles have advanced over 300,000 copies.

    more from this reviewer

Great for Zane Grey Eyesight impaired

I purchased this book for my father, who is 104, who loves Zane Grey books. He really enjoyed the book and the paperback version was so much easier for him to handle than heavier hardbound.
