A must for those who live or vacation in Japan

I was thrilled to find this book at the bookstore where we are stationed in the military in Japan. I originally picked up one copy for my children because I found it in the children's section. Once I read it, I realized that the details in art and descriptions in both English and Japanese translation made it a must for my library as well. It basically summarizes all the differences between the American and Japanese cultures. It highlights the special traditions and festivals that make up Japan. I fell in love with this book and all the illustrations and work that went into it. I went back to the bookstore where I purchased it to find they were already sold out. I had them special order 5 more copies so I could mail them out as gifts to family members. Looking forward to seeing more from this author.
