Meet the Author

Tom Clancy
Thirty years ago Tom Clancy was a Maryland insurance broker with a passion for naval history. Years before, he had been an English major at Baltimore's Loyola College and had always dreamed of writing a novel. His first effort, The Hunt for Red October, sold briskly as a result of rave reviews, then catapulted onto the New York Times bestseller list after President Reagan pronounced it "the perfect yarn." From that day forward, Clancy established himself as an undisputed master at blending exceptional realism and authenticity, intricate plotting, and razor-sharp suspense. He passed away in October 2013.

    Very Good Read!

If you liked Checkmate you'll love Fallout. Same author under the pseudonym of David Michaels. I loved the story and how awesome Sam Fisher is portrayed. Fisher is all business!

    Interesting and imaginitive

This one really takes an imaginitive look at the world, and the lengths that some people are willing to go to change it. Really a thought provoking description of the mentality of Bolot Omurbai as a character, and makes you wonder what might happen if somebody really did try to do what he wanted to do. I guess that's one of the marks of a good suspence author. A must read in the series.

    I Also Recommend:

"The only thing we have to fear is, Sam Fisher."

Some of this review might be a little scewed, because I jumped in right in the middle of the series; but this much is clear: Sam Fisher is beast. "Please," begs the terrorrist," You can send Horatio Cane(CSI:MIAMI), you can send Jack Bauers (24), but don't send Sam Fisher! This book shows just how far some people will go for revenge, and how stupid it is to mess with the CIA.

    Amazing Book

Tom Clancy¿s Splinter Cell: Fallout was an amazing book. Sam Fisher does it again, a weapon of mass destruction Sam Fisher goes out to find who killed his brother and last reaming family member alive. His brother was killed by a real life substance, a cup of PuH-19 could kill 100 people it gets inside your body and eats your organs inside out. This leads Sam to an Islamic extremist in charge of a terrorist cell that planed on wiping out the whole nation. This book gets into action right away. You have to put the clues together in your head

    Super Great Action Novel

I absolutely loved this book from page 1. For me this is the first book that I have read in the Tom Clancy's Splinter cell series and I LOVED IT. It has a little bit of everything, suspence, emotion and tons of non-stop action. I could not put this book down for more than a day it was so good. I totally recomend this book for the person that loves action and suspence.

    A reviewer

Ive read every one of the Splinter Cell books so far in the collection and I'd have to say by far this may be the best one. The book is action packed and basically keeps you reading until you fall over. The book is a mystery and a action book in the Splinter Cell way and is definatly satisfying I recommend it to any Splinter Cell fan.
