i liked the art work and all of the information on playing a sorcerer that they included in this book.
For your mage and sorceror, this book has it all. 1st level elemental spells, 3rd level elemental spells, and Chain Contingency make this book a really good addition to any hardcore D&D persons collection. It even has the stats on cooler familiars like pseudodragons and imps, even though you have to take a special feat to get them. Out of all the class rulebooks, this one is by far the best.
If your looking for something to spice up your spellcaster, this book has it all. New spells, new feats, prestige classes (spellsword being my favorate, but Bladesinger being a player favorate), improved familiars, and a handfull of new magic items. There is some nice information on some of the more common spells and how to pick them. Really I use this book more than any of the others. Top quality product.
