Fabulous & fantastic, captivating & engaging romantic story by the phenomenal writer Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I received an ARC for an honest review. Tommaso is turning in an evil creature and the only way to stop the curse is to find his mate, but the last thing he remembers is meeting his mate, locking her up tied and bound in his closet, almost violently killing her, and then letting her. Charlotte is a golf instructor who has men of all ages hitting on her and is secretly afraid of the monsters in the dark. Charlotte fell for someone else, Andrus. But, as both Tommaso and Charlotte spend time together both develop feelings for each other that neither share with each other until it is almost too late. Read the highly recommended must read love story of Tommaso and Charlotte!

Mimi did it again with another great read. She has a way of writing a book that makes you love the characters, feel sorry for them, hate them, and then love them some more. She also is great at making you crack up while reading, which may cause a few people to look at you a bit funny. :) If you enjoy paranormal romances with humor, Mimi is the gal for you. This book was great.

Written in two amazing parts! This book takes us through Tommaso and Charlotte's story. After some exploring of self worth and over coming some fears everything seemd to fall into place for these two. But there are some true twists and turns along the way! Sexy gods, crazy goddesses, unicorns, demigods and golf pros never looked so good! Packed with laughs, some tears and even more laughs Mimi does it again! She spins a tale of awesomeness that keeps you coming back for more with each book! Don't forget about the continued plot from the book before! You will love everyone in these books! These books are so refeshing! True "pick me up" kind of books! Do not miss them!

The world is flipping upside down and inside out again. Love it, Tommaso is the second book in the spinoff Immortal Matchmakers series and it so does not disappoint. Cimil as always is one crazy goddess that speaks only in riddles and she is most diffidently in charge of this crazy ride. (or is she) Tommaso is in danger (again) of turning evil and the only woman that can save his is the destined mate of this best friend that chose to marry her cousin instead. (what a tangled web) Can he convince Char to love him despite her being destined for someone else? Can she save him from the worst fate he can imagine. Char knows monsters are real and she is determined to make sure they do not get to her again. Her life is designed to keep everyone away. Can she give up her carefully crafted safe life for one smoking hot Italian man? Will changing her life be worth the struggle? What a fun filled emotional roller-coaster ride this story was. Very entertaining read from beginning to the end. So many questions left for the others that you cant help but sit on pins and needles waiting to know what will happen next. Looking forward to the new story later this year.

Immortal Italian Hottie ISO that special someone *boogeyman hopefully not included, just a weird relative or 2 & maybe poultry Tommaso was once a verrrrry bad dude but thanks to the universe and possibly the whim of a quirky goddess he has shed his evil loincloth and rejoined society as someone you wouldn’t mind inviting over for a classy dinner party or maybe doing a few body shots with if that’s what floats your goat. Anyhoo, in order to keep up his reclaimed Italian hottie vibe he needs to find that one special someone and soon otherwise its back to stinky evilness and he’s been there, done that. That’s where the services of Immortal Matchmakers come in to make sure he makes that love connection that will keep the universe balanced. I could read this cast of characters forever and wouldn’t complain if Mimi kept writing them until we were all old and gray (even though we love the other series too, seriously, thank you for Fugly and Happy Pants Cafe). If you’re looking for a fun read with some eccentric personalities then this is your book. This can be read as a stand alone if you are only interested in Tommaso and Charlotte’s story but I can’t imagine why you would stop at just one, this author is addictive.

This wasn't for me. I see most people liked it, so I'm guessing I just didn't get it. I know it was trying to be clever and I thought it was overkill.

Yes, sometimes men can be monsters, but they are pussy cats compared to the machinations of our Cimil! Get ready to re-enter Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s crazy world of the gods, the demigods and the mere mortals who seem to be able to outplay, out last and pretty much bring these gods to their knees, lost in love! Tomasso is the tale of these immortals, used to the finer things in life, okay, he expected he deserved the finer things in life and took advantage at any opportunity. He had some bad times to make up for and all was terrific until THAT night…the night he found his true mate and may have been less than impressive, suave or debonair. In a word, he may have been a monster, so why should he get a second chance to impress? You know what they say about first impressions. Charlotte is in his sights, she’s the one and if he cannot convince her of how awesome he is, Cimil has predicted that he will be one of the unlucky bachelors who go over to the dark side. Charlotte, a golf pro has a mean 9 iron swing and vague childhood memories that terrify her, memories that keep her in fear, distrustful and a prisoner of her own life. Let’s just say that Tomasso comes on a little too strong, in his usual manner of doing things and hotness in the flesh or not, Charlotte is not convinced she should trust him, let alone marry him. And, as they say, let the fun begin! Can Tomasso prove he is worthy of Charlotte or that he wants her for more than saving his immortal hide? Will going through hell and back finally convince her? Talk about an about face, humility in a god or demigod? Rational thinking from Cimil, too? Whoa….scratch that, this is fantasy, but we’re talking Cimil here. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has unleashed her crazy imagination on us again in all of its glory! Plan ahead for this one, because talking to your eReader or laughing at it may be cause for concern among your family, so kick ‘em outta the house, this is your time with Ms. Pamfiloff and her crazy and signature sense of writing style as we learn if a mortal woman can tame the monster in a god. I received an ARC edition from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff in exchange for my honest review.

I have loved every book I've read from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff and after waiting what seemed like forever for Tommaso to arrive, it definitely did not disappoint. It grabbed my attention from the first chapter wondering what the Hades did he get himself into and why was he turning back to evil. The fellow Gods and Goddesses that help (and hinder) along the way are hysterical yet endearing and it is fun having them about in each book. As for Tommaso, he is the God next door that falls for his true love who is afraid of commitment, yet he never gives up. Even if you haven't read the first book in the series (what are you waiting for?!) you can still follow this story and it is a fun, fast paced read. You will not want to put it down, but be forewarned, Mimi is the Queen of awesome cliffhangers that will keep you coming back for more. Great book!

RATING 4.5 STARS Tommaso is book two in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author. Welcome back to the craziness of Cimil. She has predicted that all immortals that are not mated will flip. That means if they are evil, they will become good. And the good ones will turn evil. Tommaso is leaving the singles mixer at the end of book one when he first sees Charlotte and as soon as he sees her he feels the attraction. But after that he can’t remember what happened. He has flashes but for the most part, he can’t remember a thing. The parts he does remember are not good. He is afraid it is happening, he is turning evil. He just has to find Charlotte (he didn’t even know her name yet at that point) and convince her to be his mate, to save him. Charlotte is working as a golf instructor at an upscale resort. She has memories of something that happened to her when she was a child, something horrible that proves that monsters are real. Because of this she has lived her life always looking over her shoulder, always wondering when the monsters will come back. When she meets Tommaso at the resort, she can’t believe this beautiful man, the most handsome man she has ever met, wants anything to do with her. Although she is afraid of letting anyone get too close, she finds it hard to resist him. Of course, when Tommaso asks Cimil for help or answers, she talks in riddles. No one ever knows what Cimil’s plan is. Or if there even is one. And, of course, she is always accompanied by her invisible unicorn, Minky. We also get plenty of Zac’s ongoing dilemma with his secretary, Tula. No matter what Tula does, Zac’s obsession with her gets stronger. It’s hilarious. I actually feel so bad for the poor guy! The first half of this book is entirely in Tommaso’s point of view but the second half is in Charlotte’s so I loved knowing what was going on in both of their heads. This is a crazy ride as we’ve come to expect from this author. I can’t help but to wonder what goes on in her head for her to continue coming up with these fabulous books. I’m probably better off not knowing. There isn’t as much sexy times in this one but she promises to make it up to us in the next book that will focus on Belch, the God of Wine, due out later this year. I can’t wait to see how Cimil and Zac manage to find him his mate!
