A sweet take on the nativity story from a mother's perspective.

"Tomorrow you will be king, but tonight you are my baby," says Mary to the newborn baby Jesus in this beautifully illustrated book. I enjoyed reading Mary's account of her new son to my young son. This book helped us focus on the "reason for the season" and the emotions of that first Christmas night. A peaceful, sweet story hinting at the power and majesty of the grown-up baby Jesus.

    Christmas Eve Favorite

This is now going to be our Christmas Eve favorite. The story is beautifully told and easily understood by the little ones and appreciated by all who sit and hear the story being read. The pictures are gorgous. This will certainly be one that will be read and re-read through all the Christmases yet to come!
