Sonny Boy Williamson's "Good Morning Little School Girl" is revisited and sped up a bit with nice harmonica solo by Morrison. Blues & Ballads

'To Long In Exile' is definitely one to own. The John Lee Hooker/Van Morrison combo on 'Wasted Years' alone makes the album worth having. Songs like 'Big Time Operators' and the cover tune, 'Lonely Avenue' possess a theme of reflection on his early years in the music industry. Many of the ballads on the album have an airy quality and may initially sound a little strange, but later grow into favorites.
