After he is twitted by townspeople about 'too many funerals,' Constable Gordon MacArthur, RCMP, makes a surprising confession, which leads the two of them to find out just why all these deaths have occurred in a short time. They have the help of Cec's wife Janet and his adoring fan, Miss Carberry the librarian.
