The Perfect Trilogy:

Maddy, Christine and Amy are thrilled that their old college suite-mate has written a bestselling book, How to Have the Perfect Life--until they realize she used them as examples of how women let fear screw up their lives. The worst part is...it's sort of true. Together they make a pact: they each have one year to face down their fears--and maybe show Miss Perfect a thing or two!

Book Three: Too Perfect

A Wandering Duckling and a Two-Faced Beast -- a Perfect Fairy Tale?

Defying the terrible sense of direction that's kept her form traveling, Amy ships out as a nanny on a Caribbean cruise–and promptly gets lost when they stop on St. Bart's. Now she's stranded without any money–or even a toothbrush!

Locals say that Gaspar, owner of the island's crumbling fortress, is a hideous recluse. They call him La Bête, "The Beast." But when Amy applies for a job at the fort, she meets only his charming assistant, Beaufort. In truth, the two are the same man–billionaire Byron Parks, who's desperately seeking privacy and peace.

Amy aches for the miserable man secluded in the fortress tower. Through e-mail, they begin an imaginative exchange of romantic fantasies. Byron is hopelessly smitten with his sexy storyteller–but will his real-life make-believe ruin their happy ending?

Editorial Reviews

Huntress Reviews - Detra Fitch
5 STARS! "Talk about a twist on the old 'Beauty & the Beast' tale. I have never read anything like this story. This is the last book in the 'Perfect' series. Of the three, this one is definitely the best. I hated seeing this trilogy end. I feel as though I know these three ladies and I am going to miss them. Author Julie Ortolon is going to have a hard time topping this book though. She has made a life-long fan in me. Highly recommended reading. "
Romantic Times - Susan Mobley
4 1/2 Stars! "Ortolon does not let you down with this wonderful conclusion to her Perfect Trilogy. The characters come alive and their problems are such that empathizing with them is easy. The trilogy is wrapped up nicely and with some sadness in saying goodbye to these characters."

This I think is my favorite of the 3 books but loved all of them. I love this author, she gets you hooked the first thing and keeps you to the end, I read all 3 books in a day & half. My whole family are avid readers, so own hundreds of books but I will read these books again and again that says a lot about how much I enjoyed these books.

Loved this series. All books can stand alone but even better read in order. So many of us feel pressured by imagined responsibilities and are afraid to take chances. When AMY finally gaines confidence in herself she learns what true happiness is. Love scenes are great and you feel like you are living her dream. Well worth buying.

I absolutely love this series but to be perfectly honest this is my favorite book out of all three. To me you get a much better understanding of both the male and female characters and what leads to the problems in their relationship. From my standpoint it makes me appreciate it so much more when they get together because you know what they really had to overcome.

Too Perfect by Julie Ortolon is the conclusion to the Perfect trilogy. It¿s a enchanting book from beginning to end. _____ Amy Baker¿s goal was to conquer her fear of traveling and to have faith in herself. She takes an assignment from her company Traveling Nannies and travels with a family on a Caribbean Cruise. Amy gets lost and ends up stranded on St. Barts with nothing. She agrees to take a job as a housekeeper for the recluse Guy Gaspar at his fortress. Amy only has direct dealings with his servant Lance Beaufort but the man in the tower intrigues her.________ Billionaire dealmaker Byron Parks has fled to St. Barts to take a long hard look at his life. In disguise as Lance he can go about daily life unrecognized but must hid in the tower as guy. Byron is compelled to talk to Amy through the monitors he has set up. They begin nightly talks over dinner that progress to titillating emails. But Amy wants to met guy face to face, she has never felt what Guy makes her feel. __________ Amy forces Guy (Byron) to met her but is in complete darkness. They begin a whirlwind romance both growing and changing. But will it all come crashing down when Amy finds out the truth? ________ Too Perfect is a deeply moving and funny book. It explores how we all few ourselves and each other. Amy and Bryon are an exceptional couple, their romance is unconventional but it works on all levels. Too Perfect brings this delightful trilogy to a close but these three friends and the men that they love will linger in your hearts long after you turn the last page.

Artist Maddy Mills, Dr. Christine Ashton, and Amy Baker are elated for former college roommate Jane Redding, who has written a self-help book ¿How to have the Perfect Life¿. However, they become angry when they realize Jane used the trio as classic examples of how fear can destroy your life. Angry and feeling ridiculed the threesome vow to prove little Ms. Perfect wrong by regaining the passion they lost when they allowed phobias to paralyze them. --- Maddy has overcome her fears (see ALMOST PERFECT) and Christine succeeded too (see JUST PERFECT). Amy knows it is her turn to face her fear of getting lost while seeing the world. She takes work as a traveling nanny on a Caribbean cruise, but loses her job. In St. Barts, Amy gets lost. The success of her buddies leads Amy to tough it out by finding temporary work as a housekeeper to a recluse. Movie mogul Byron Parks is tired of the phoniness of Hollywood so has fled to a tropical getaway pretending to be hermit Guy Gaspar and flamboyant sexy Frenchman Lance Beaufort. The latter¿s flirtations leave Amy uncomfortable while the former¿s contact through a video intercom makes her feel good. As she falls in love with Guy, Byron reciprocates but fears how his housekeeper will react to the truth. --- TOO PERFECT closes out a fun trilogy with a terrific perfect final tale starring two fine likeable individuals with mucho emotional damage. Though Amy has lost a ton of weight, she psychologically believes she is fat and unappealing to males. Byron has become so down on relationships he split himself into two ¿new¿ personalities just to deal with the new housekeeper. Readers will appreciate this wonderful contemporary romance that perfectly asks what happened to Jane? --- Harriet Klausner
