Meet the Author

Joe Donn Martin was not born in Texas, and that really pisses him off. He likes to launch into long, rambling lectures on Texas history and what it means to be Texan, but you can shut him right up by saying, “Well, you weren’t born here, so what do you know?” And don’t let him get away with telling you that he “got here as soon as he could.” He stole that from a bumper sticker.
When he’s not plagiarizing bumper stickers, Joe works as a litigation support analyst at a national law firm conveniently located across the street from the Houston Public Library.
