Soundview Executive Book Summaries
Industrial/organizational psychologist Gregory E. Huszczo calls leadership the "X-factor" that determines whether a team is successful or not. In Tools for Team Leadership, he offers team leaders many creative strategies to help them improve their ability to raise awareness, generate opinions, analyze a team, provide constructive feedback, gain consensus, and plan for success. While discussing communication skills, Huszczo presents several ways to get teams to focus on what they have learned about an issue and learn by examining the assumptions underlying their perspectives.
