Children's Literature - Children's LiteratureIn this straightforward book about a few general household tools, Strickland gives an example of how each tool is used. On the first two pages, the illustrations of the tools are neat and accurate but the pages containing the people working with the tools are out of proportion and awkward. One figure has arms that are too long and the tape measure in one man's hand is as big as his face! A glossary and index is included at the back. Animals, People and Places are the other titles in the Working Series.
