I bought this book and it is worth every penny! First off my favorite doughnut is the Apple Fritter and the only place I ever had it that it was made the best was in Seattle. I wanted to know how to make them like they are done in Seattle and this book tells you how and not only that but a BLACKBERRY FRITTER TOO! YUM! Spectacular doughnut pictures are also in this book. Love it!! The only modification I'd make is baking the yeast doughnuts instead of frying them and they even tell you how to do that too!

Interesting and very informative!! There are not many doughnut books 'out there' and this one helped me to create the best-tasting doughnuts! I was thrilled with the way the various topics were listed and, aside from the recipes, it was interesting to read.

Another cookbook sample with no recipes! When considering buying a cookbook, why in the world would I care about the authours life story??

Please whatever you do please don't waste your money to buy this book. I made that mistake and now I have to look at this brand-new book very day that is useless, I've never been to the Top Pot in person before but after buying this book I never will. A lot of the recipes call for ground mace which makes them taste horrible, I found a much better doughnut recipe on Youtube than the ones that are in this book. You'd be better throwing you money out the car window driving down the highway then wasting it on this book!!
